Very clean and classy restaurant. Excellent customer service. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our visit here. I can't remember if I have eaten tofu saag before. I like it. My husband enjoyed his chicken tandoori.
We arrived here totally famished after a long hike and were preparing ourselves for a great treat as per the terrific rating-reviews of this restaurant. Here’s what we ordered: 1: Vegetable Manchurian(see attached pic)- this had cumin and mustard seeds spluttered(this is something which doesn’t go with this dish at all) and did Not taste good. 2) tandoori veggie momos- the cabbage stuffing inside was bitter and overpowering so we ended up eating just the “momo-skin” and tossing the stuffing. 3)Rogan Josh- the gravy was so unlike rogan-josh and undercooked/weak that we requested to replace with some other gravy dish which also tasted bad enough that we left it almost as is.4) Mango Lassi- this was nice and not too overly sweet which i really liked. 5) Garlic naan: request to please let the naans cook in tandoor longer and let the black/brown bubbles develop characteristic of naans-yours were undercooked. The servers were quite pleasant and the ambiance of the restaurant is great but we came here for food too and yours was a let down.We told spicy level 4 when asked in the beginning yet everything tasted bland and tasteless. Not returning.
Friendly staff and solid Indian/Nepalese cuisine- we mostly order takeout and have found Sherpa to be a consistently good option for a variety of curries and sides (e.g. samosas). Prices are reasonable and the staff here are super helpful.
Great and affordable lunch special ($10). Have come here multiple times and the food has always been delicious and they have a lot of options, especially for appetizers. Also like that they wear traditional dress!
This was our first time at Sherpa Kitchen, but it won’t be our last. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, responsive, and appreciative. But the food was terrific! My chicken kabobs came our steaming and sizzling on the plate. Big chunks of tender white meat were covered with grilled onion and peppers. They even had Kendal Jackson Chardonnay! My friend had a brass container full of delicious chicken sag. Plenty to eat and very satisfying. We will be back soon to try other yummy looking dishes.
Such amazing food and very nice customer service! I went with a couple of friends and the Mater paneer was divine. Garlic Naan is definitely a must here as well. Very fast service as well.
Sherpa Kitchen is an awesome hole in the wall! Their lunch special is our favorite. Great deal that is flavorful and actually leaves you full (vegetarian options). The service is quick and friendly, calming atmosphere too?
We really liked the food here! The samosa chaat was one of the best I’ve had in the US. Johl Momo was also very flavorful and rich. Ordered 4/5 spicy and it was very spicy (even for an Indian person). So if you’re not used to heat, go light on the spice level. Portion size was a bit small for the veggie korma but it was very tasty.
Today was my first time ordering from Sherpa Kitchen - this place is a gem! Really friendly staff, made me feel welcome when I arrived and even provided tea while I waited for my takeout order at the bar. The lunch special was excellent with generous portions and priced fairly. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu...it was some of the best Indian food I've had!
Had a great meal for Sunday night. Lamb kebab was yummy with peppers and onions. My wife really liked her lamb dish as well. Great options, high quality meat, solid ambiance. Looking forward to our next meal here.
