Such delicious food (how did they get Brussels sprouts to taste that great?) and the coziest environment. Our server Anais was so professional and on top of things. Loved it here!
What can I not say about this restaurant. We just moved to Boulder from Chicago and I can confidently say we will be regulars here. My only anxiety was what to pick because everything looked and sounded so good! We already have our next meals picked out. It is so charming and a little oasis off of pearl street. The moment you walk in your mouth waters. And then we had the best server ever. Anthony was AMAZING. He had great recommendations and we enjoyed talking to him so much. We are coming back soon for Anthony and the food! On to the food - we had the challah bread, dates, ribs, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and a bison burger. Everything was phenomenal and my Manhattan was superb. I am currently in a food coma dreaming of my next visit. See you soon Anthony! We love this place! ?
Great place for dinner! Enjoyed the cocktails, French onion soup, and short rib. Plus our waiter Cooper was helpful.
Fantastic experience. I had to come back the next day. Nate and Caya were bartending virtuosos. Great food, great conversation. This is now a regular stop on my trips to Boulder
Really eclectic fare, excellent cocktails, and exemplary service. The food is a little more "muted" (less way out there spicy and flavorful) than I might prefer but it is overall delicious and much of it is sourced locally.
Delicious.Staff is helpful and kind. Food was like elevated comfort food.Recommend:- pear mule- bourbon- poutine- veggie burger- Brussel sprouts- s’mores
Waitress was unfriendly, didn't warn me about the service charge, so when I tipped her I basically tipped her 40% and she deserved less than 15%. Then she was still grumpy. Food was OK, my farmer's salad was awesome but other stuff wasn't. I won't go back.
I decided to come to this restaurant after a friend posted a photo on Facebook. What a magical find! We pulled up to a sweet looking cabin that was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Boulder. I felt like it was walking into Narnia is the hostess lead me through The adorable restaurant, kitchen, and into the outside yard dining. You can either sit in the restaurant, the outside tent (which is more open, but warm and still has so much ambience), or your own private bubble with a heater. We chose the bubble when we made the reservation, but I think all of the seating options looked appealing.Every dish that came out looked beautifully prepared and the brocollini was seriously my favorite! Even though I’m not a big desert person, it was definitely worth getting the homemade s’mores! I felt like a kid again getting to cook it over the flame. We spoke with the chef and sous chef as we left (because you walk by the kitchen), and they had so much passion about their jobs. Truly an unexpected find and I can’t wait to go back during the daytime and try brunch!
River and Woods was an awesome experience. They hosted us in the tent on a rainy night. Anthony was our server and made a celebratory night even better. A fine-dining experience you can even enjoy with your dog. The gnocchi was incredible, the environment was perfect, staff was kind, and our server was an incredible host. 5 stars and will return.
I had a pomegranate lemonade. Very good. I came during Breakfast/lunch. The French toast and pork belly Benedict was incredible. I was very satisfied. My server Caya took good care of me. I will definitely come back for dinner
