Oak is a gem on the busy Boulder downtown strip, offering risk-taking new menu options that delighted us. Foremost, the staff is friendly, dedicated, and caring as they helped move some things around to get us out of the Colorado sun. There is a vast selection of cocktails and niche beer, alongside a menu that has a little for everyone.The summer sausage was delicious, the bread was warm, crisp, and homey. For our main courses everything was delicious, but in need of some fine tuning in our opinion. The cerviche broth was a bit too bitter and acidic, saved by the diced tomatoes included. The skirt steaks were also great as well, but avoid if you have a shrimp/shellfish allergy. Finally, the pasta was enjoyable all the way through. Will come again for the great staff and exciting menu.
Overcharge and 0 Hospatility from the Manger On Duty.I come here often. I like the food they serve and engaging staff. We were the party of 5 seating at the bar. I asked the bartender for an alacart order of Halibut fish they serve in one of the entree and mushroom tempura. Another friend of mine got exact same thing.Bartender went to check if they can give me just the fish and said yes they can do it but didnot care to give us heads up on the full price of the dish they were ringing.We were charged 6% market surcharge due to the current market surcharge which equaled to $6. to my check and it is understandable but $70 for two alacart fish doesnot sound right to me.I thought MOD would be nice enough to honor the mistake his staff made by not awaring us prior to our ordering. He took off $10. in disgusting manner as if i was begging for it.

Great meal! We ordered the ceviche to start and the Korean bbq pork shoulder as our main. Absolutely delicious 𤤠all around! The mean and sides were exquisitely cooked and flavorful!

We are a family of 6 this trip who loves to cook and try others foods! WE are all in for small bites of lots of things when we go out adn beware as we will pluck a morsel from your plate. We tried nearly all the apps- just amazing! G'ma nearly 89 yrs loved the chicken liver pate , salmon, and kale salad- truly everyone's favorite and a must have every time. The crispy rice salad had lots of spicy shrimp hidden underneath-just fantastic! we each shared and raved about our chicken, salmon, pork chop, hanger steak entrees. Have some fin adn bring friends to sample it all. G'ma loved trying a South African Sauv Blanc as she loved traveling the world. The wine selection had some good value finds.
