Disgusting. We tried this location almost 3 years ago and then again today. Both times were a complete disappointment and waste of money. We spent more than $100 and ended up having to cook something different. Gluten free pizzas were soggy and burnt. Steak dish was only partially cooked. Yuck. The whole two experiences were awful. Never again.
Counter guy charged us for a large thai coconut salad and small flatiron. We got a small thai and small flatiron with dried out meat. Server/bus guy was surly and silent.
We got a chicken sandwich and a modern avo toast. We were probably one of the first people there and there was no one else around. We waited about 20 min for our food. The chicken sandwich was good but my avo toast was awful. It was burnt black on the top and hurt my jaw to eat. The avocado was dark, dark green like it was old and it tasted like it was from a package. This modmarket is also older and a bit dirty which was pretty disappointing to see.
This is my favorite fast-casual chain in the area. The prices are really good for the quality of food, and I appreciate being able to order half sizes as well. The app experience is easy for pickup. The rewards program is great and easy to use. I also really appreciate bowl Tuesday for a $7 bowl of the week.
Terrible customer service, food never ready when it's supposed to be, but still pretty good food. I'll try them again in 6 months to see if it has improved, the last year has been terrible.
We placed an order for 27 the day before and when I showed up at Mod Market to pick it up, it was ready, correct, and organized! Edwin in Boulder was excellent, and made sure that we had a wonderful experience. Really fantastic experience and made our celebratory lunch a joy!
Went in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were promptly informed by the kitchen staff that they were unable to do ANY sandwiches. I'm not sure of the reasoning behind this because there was bread visible, but okay. No sandwiches. Maybe there was no meat, or perhaps none to make the sandwiches? We order our food and they have one guy assembling the meals AND bringing it to the tables. It takes a bit of time, as you can imagine. The food itself was passable. I got a chicken bowl which was decently flavorful. My friend got a steak salad (which she hated and did not finish, I'm not sure how you can mess up steak?) and my other friend got a keto bowl, which she said was okay. The best thing we had was a curry soup, so I'd recommend that if it's still on the menu.I should also note the employee attitudes were rather poor. The cashier seemed distracted and uninterested. Indeed, he was trying to run the register and bus tables at the same time. The guy running the food might bring you a fork with your food, he might tell you to go get it yourself. If the leadership for modern market eatery reads these reviews I would suggest the following: Get out of your offices and check out what is happening in your stores. Long wait times, disengaged staff, inadequate staffing, menu item elimination are all fixable issues that contribute to customer loss. No amount of menu tinkering or promotions will fix a poor dining experience.
I like to read the one star reviews to see what people are whining about. We had excellent staff. quick service, excellent food. It was a mad-house at lunch rush hour. Our first time, and very impressed. The whiners need to get a life.
