DELICIOUS. Goodies are gluten free, vegan and original. All is amazing not one bad thing to say on this bakery.
We purchased our wedding cake (carrot cake) from Lucky's Bakehouse and it was amazing! For our wedding of 90, we ordered a 6in cake for the bride/groom as well as a double layer quarter sheet cake and a double layer half sheet cake for the guests. The quarter sheet cake wasn't touched as the half sheet cake was plenty, so we had leftovers for days! Great taste, high quality ingredients, and very reasonably priced. Wish I had more pictures to share but all three were beautiful!
We left Estes park looking for some breakfast on the way to Breckinridge and decided to give this place a try. We arrived at 9am and the place is clean, the food came out hot and quick. The service was 5 star and we had no complaints. The bathrooms are clean. My daughters got chocolate chip pancakes and waffles while the parents got omelets with breakfast burrito. Highly recommended.
I paid $135 for a 10” custom strawberry cake with a dozen hummingbird cupcakes. They were absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately no one at the party (about 20 people) thought the cake tasted like strawberry (or thought it tasted good at all). We all thought that surely the baker had made an error. When I called the store to let them know (and perhaps get a refund or discount or an explanation), I was told the cake was indeed strawberry. I tried to assure the person on the phone that the cake didn’t taste a bit like strawberry and was honest when she asked if it at least tasted good (it was not great). Despite my obvious disappointment with the cake, they assured me again it was strawberry and I didn’t have the heart to argue anymore. I feel a little gaslighted haha. Oh well…the birthday girl ate a little frosting and was happy. That’s all that matters.3 stars for the beautiful decoration. If you want a beautiful cake and cupcakes and don’t care about taste, this is your place.
I’ve been looking for a great bakery in Boulder! Their desserts are delicious. Worth every penny!
Stopped in to check this place out as we love to stop at the Ideal Market when in town. This place was fantastic. The selection of goods was still plentiful when we got there in the early afternoon. We had lemon bars and vegan gluten free brownie and both were delicious. The service was also very good. This will be a must stop for us anytime we are in Boulder.

Came in for a ham and Swiss croissant on the morning of 2/20/22. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until I got home that the croissant was severely over cooked. I called in almost immediately and suggested that perhaps I could bring in the overdone croissant to swap out for a new one and I was told that I would still have to pay for the new croissant. This doesn’t make sense to me as I paid $5 expecting the usual quality I receive from Lucky’s Bakehouse, and instead I was left disappointed by it, and by the attitude / lack of understanding by the woman on the phone. Y’all may have lost a weekly customer.- mike
GROSSI was really hoping they would have some good gluten free options but the curry biscuits were gross! They had huge chunks of soggy green onion in them and had a horrible taste. The young girls working there also lacked any knowledge and failed to answer my questions.I gave two stars because I’m hoping they will have better gluten free biscuits and treats in the future but this was certainly a bad first impression.
