We enjoyed the Brussel spouts and burrata, but the French onion soup was excellent!
My friend and I really enjoyed our lunch here yesterday. The decor is subdued and lovely though the a/c was a bit high and I had trouble drinking my delicious, ice-cold mocktail. We each had salads that were nicely dressed and flavorful and we shared a fabulous ricotta cheesecake (and I don't usually like cheesecake). The server was friendly and stopped by frequently but was not intrusive. We will return.
Had a very tasty meal at Jill's. Several good vegetarian options. Big portions and very good service. Only complaint was that the hotel charges $15 to vallet the car even if you are just there for the restaurant. Parking garage was cheaper, but a bit of a hassle and the restaurant doesn't validate the Parking ticket.
We booked a reservation at Jillâs yet it was not honored. They told us it could be a 45 min wait and service would be slow. While we did want to dine here, there are so many other great places in Boulder. Would recommend Pasta Jays - what a fun place! Many others too. I doubt we will attempt Jillâs again because if they donât honor the Open Table reservation and couldnât figure out how to accommodate us, I doubt the actual dining experience would be different.
We always enjoy really well prepared food at this restaurant. This time around we were seated outside in full sun on a 90+ degree day. After inquiring about being reseated, and told that it would happen immediately, we still sat in the sun for the remainder of our meal. The service ran between excellent and mediocre. Lots of attentive care and then not so much. I understand good help is really hard to find these days. I wonât let this latest not so great meal dim my enthusiasm for Jillâs.
