Good atmosphere, average uni and sockeye sushi. Great vegetarian sushi options. Cocktails are interesting (but overpriced.) Try their Happy Hour for bartender’s special at a reduced price. I brought a diverse group of professionals and everyone had a great experience.

Arguably the best sushi in Boulder but also the best atmosphere. I prefer bar seating but the outdoor and indoor regular seating is also great.

Good dinner experience overall. The cocktails were inventive and unique. The sushi was good. The service was good despite mixing up our orders. They offered a very refreshing tea as an apology while we waited for the orders to get fixed.

Had a blast at Japango. Sushi was legit. Cocktail menu was extensive and wonderfully designed. Japanese whiskey collection was a treat. The best part however, was the staff. Our bartenders were top notch. Good times over lunch. Honestly would come back just for the service. The great food and bev is just a bonus.

To be honest, we have not eaten a full meal at Japango in a long while so I'm going on memory to say their sushi is excellent. Lately we have taken a liking to snacking at the outdoor tables they have set up on the mall. They've done a very nice job with those, far nicer than most downtown restaurants have. You should check out their nice Happy Hour one of these pleasant summer late afternoons.

Went here for date night and couldn't have been happier with my experience. The staff was knowledgeable on all items including their extensive whiskey list and the sushi was so good I was dreaming about it the next day! Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Boulder.

Superior quality, sat at the sushi bar in the back of the restaurant. The quality of food is really fantastic. If there are a lot of people (which there were) it is very noisy. Guage the day and hour you go if you prefer less of a crowd. All in all this is my favorite Sushi restaurant in Boulder and a must if you like quality Susi!

????? our waiter was perfect. Attentive, conversational and knowledgeable, my friend and I throughly enjoyed our sushi and craft made cocktails. Highly recommend this place for some great sushi, hip atmosphere and ask for Ansel to be your guy. He’s great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visiting our son for his graduation this weekend from CU Boulder, we enjoyed a terrific experience at Japango Boulder. Manager Natalie, server Steven, server Natalie and Head Chef Iwason all delivered excellent quality of service and food! We kept it simple with mainly appetizers - edemami, miso soup, tuna tataki with ginger, Aspen tea. When I inquired about the extraordinary attitude, camaraderie and customer service, I was informed that the employees train each other, hold each other accountable and treat everyone as family, something they call “fampango” or Japango family. The manager Natalie is a terrific ambassador for the restaurant. She even put my phone on a charger for me as we dined. We enjoyed watching head chef Iwason and his team work. Their construction of sushi platters was impressive to watch and a real art form. They obviously take pride in their work. I had to compliment General Manager Daniel as we exited on the terrific vibe and quality experience we enjoyed! We can’t wait to visit Boulder again and dine at Japango!!

Stopped in for a quick bite and the food was amazing! I highly recommend the sweet Lilly sake and the kitsunes kiss roll that our server Reilly recommended and his recommendation was on point ?? Next time you stop in ask for Reilly. The service was fantastic and overall great guy and great food and atmosphere!
