Best gelato I've ever had - the flavors were so delicious and "real" tasting, not artificial. Plus they had cones which gelato places don't always have.
Brilliant flavors (15 with 5 vegan), refreshing taste and texture, good prices ($6.75 for 3 scoops) and they allow sampling.Collectively our favorite flavors were the lavender poppy (unique and delicious), chocolate hazelnut crunch (done really well), and the gooey butter cake with caramel (rich and wonderful).The triple berry sorbet and dark chocolate sorbet were also pretty good.The staff were friendly, there was ample seating and they also had brownies, waffles and milkshakes.Only small drawback was one of my flight scoops had a few shavings of ice, likely from water freezing after scooping with a wet scooper.
Italian gelato nailed it. The pistachio flavor is really close to the one I used to enjoy in Italy. The creaminess and the consistency are perfect.
On a brief visit to Boulder, Pearl Street Market was a great place for taking in the feel of the city. This little shop offered primo gelato that was perfect for a warm Spring day. I got a small cup with 2 flavors. Not all flavors are gluten free, but the menu is conveniently labeled.
The gelato was amazing!! We had the berry, vegan chocolate and the coffee flavors. All three were phenomenal, and the cone was very tasty too. No picture bc we devoured it!
I’m an ice cream and gelato snob. Which means the bar is set pretty high for me. And Gelato Boy comes quite close to that level. There were a fair number of choices; I did salty cookies and cream with chocolate malt. Very good but slightly too icy for me. My companions loved what they had, so maybe the lack of richness and/or creaminess was due to my flavors. We’ll see. . .
I bought my first pint of Gelato Boy from Sprout Grocery in Fayetteville, NC. Oh my! This Gooey buttercake w/caramel is soooo delicious I may just eat the entire pint today! This has just become my favorite brand of gelato!
Everything I want a gelateria to be! I thoroughly enjoyed the lavender poppy and hazelnut with chocolate chips. The Keylime pie was also pretty fantastic :-)
Their Dairy-Free selection is expansive, and includes options with all, any, or none of oat and coconut milk to suit many diets. Chocolate was delicious.
I was very impressed with this place in Boulder! The ice cream is amazing and the service is excellent as well! everyone treated me very nicely and with a big smile on their faces ! Keep it up doing such a great job !!
