I've been to so many Japanese restaurants and have loved their soup and teriyaki chicken, so when we went here for dinner i was absolutely disappointed. Our group ordered some soup, rice balls, eel, chicken teriyaki, and noodles. I asked everyone after trying it and they were all disappointed because their orders were bland and didn't taste good. They also charge a dollar more than what they have listed on their menu. The teriyaki chicken tasted like boiled chicken dipped in soysauce and nothing else. And the soup, ??‍? it's not appetizing at all. I love to eat and this is one of a few that I find not worth going to. I'm sorry but I will not recommend it. The staff is good but the food is not. Also it was so hot outside and they didn't even turn their ac on. We had to ask because everyone was sweating. The place is clean.

Wonderful place with delicious food and great service. Love the prices too! The onigiri reminded me of Japan:-) with a twist. Loved the rice.

Delicious flavor profile. 4th time at this place and keep coming back. Lots of flavor with less sauce. Poke bowls are amazing. Family owned, great service.

This is one of my favorite places to stop in Boulder for a quick inexpensive healthy bite. I love the tuna rice ball. I even had my friends interested in grabbing one to try.

First time to Colorado and didn't make reservations for our 1st choice. We will always make Fuji our dinner choice for future trips! Quaint, and not busy! Excellent staff and yummy food!

Disappointing poke bowl with way too much soy sauce and sad seaweed salad, which is actually just lettuce and little bit of seaweed and canned tuna. But the people are super nice and the avocado was actually good.

I honestly am not very happy with my experience here. We started off with 4 glasses of water for 5 people,, which is easy enough to fix. The issue was that 3 of the glasses hasn't been cleaned, at all. 2 of them had lipstick all the way around the rim of the glass. The third glass had a wide food smudge up the length of it. My mother and I both ordered the same meal. Hers tasted entirely different and both of them had beef that tasted freezer burnt. I don't know... Aside from the good tea, this place wasn't really my cup of tea.

My partner and I ate here after a full day wandering Pearl Street. I've never had onigiri but have wanted to try it ever since I was kid after watching Spirited Away. We ordered the 2 onigiri combo each. I got the smoked salmon and the tuna and he got the smoked salmon and the shitake. all of the fillings were delicious and the miso soup was very good as well. Service was fast and positive. We were totally full by the time we left and the meal was great for the price. Highly recommend Fuji Restaurant.

Came in to try out the onigiri since I hadn't tasted it before. The salmon, tuna and unagi onigiri were delicious. The sherpa beer was unique; a must try in my opinion. Service was quick and staff was courteous. Very good experience overall

Yum! Great food and super friendly service. The mushroom Fuji don is my favorite thing on the menu and the Chawman tofu (noodle dish) and veggie momo are really excellent too!My dad likes the teriyaki chicken dinner, my husband likes the tuna poke don, and my kids like the avocado onigiri. We try and order every other month or so, I hope to keep Fuji cafe around for a long time! The family that owns the restaurant are so nice, they always offer my dad tea if he’s there before our takeout order is ready.
