Health Food Salad Pizza

Fresh Thymes has offered delicious and healthy food in Boulder for years. I recently dined there for lunch with my daughter. The experience was really disappointing. We ordered a burger cooked medium with a side salad. The burger was well done with no seasoning on a tasteless bun. It was also significantly smaller than burgers we have ordered in the past. The salad had almost no dressing on it.We paid over $19 for a burger we couldn't finish eating (includes the additional fees for a "Restaurant Viability" and "Zero Foodprint" that were added to our bill).Overpriced and very mediocre.

As someone who has been coming here regularly for years, supporting them when they first opened their doors, & having spent a lot of $ on their food, it’s really disappointing to find some (seemingly jaded & disgruntled) employees treat me less than kind when ordering, or talking with them about their food sourcing. I’ve noticed a particular employee taking issue with me when I asked about portion size seeming smaller than what I’m used to seeing there, and yet just explained that’s what it is without any genuine care to help.Today I was looking forward to ordering some food-& upon seeing how slow they were, thought it was strange that the same employee was not only unfriendly & unwelcoming, (despite my own initial friendliness & the fact nobody was waiting in line), she just wanted to get my order over with. I shared what I learned about pasture raised beef being pinker & less aged when cooked at medium, compared to typical meats cooked at that temp, & they blankly stared in the distance as if I was lecturing them or something, then another employee jumped in-looking at me annoyed as if I had a problem or something! It was so weird with the negative vibes towards me that they were so unaware of putting out. I’m confused why the employee was so off putting towards me from the get-go (unless she recognized me as someone she’d rather not help, having interacted with her days before on the portion size question, which I was very kind about).I’ve never felt more uncomfortable ordering with someone, & yet I was trying to make it less awkward by trying to connect with them about the food sourcing. But it was apparent that this employee knew nothing about what I was saying, nor cared what I had to say!It matters little to me whether someone agrees with me or not, yet why is it so difficult to share a little lightness and curiosity with others, simply wanting to connect on some level with your customers for god’s sake? It feels instead very agro underneath a supposed “customer service”.In the way they interacted with such disregard, it was apparent to me that I shouldn’t spend my time or $$ supporting the restaurant or their people.Food quality doesn’t matter much when you treat your customers like they don’t matter, especially ones like me who have come in time & time again for dine-in & take-out, only to be treated like a number. And while I know how stressful food service can get (I’ve worked in many restaurants as well), it says a lot when the front end of a restaurant have a bad attitude & look like they wish they were anywhere else. For a small local restaurant, they sure seem to struggle with hiring more employees who maintain a good attitude & can genuinely welcome their regulars back with a smile. The healthy eating concept with burnt out employees never looks or feels good to anyone. On another note, there’s a young guy, maybe in his early 20s working the front & clearing tables who has amazing customer service—he stands out as the one of the only employees who seem to genuinely care about customers’ enjoying their dine-in experience.I wonder if the owners care or are aware of the negative vibe coming from some of the others working on the front end?In the end, it sucks to have been treated so poorly & without apology or any acknowledgment on their behalf. I saw a girl pull a long hair out of the pulled pork once, & the manager just glanced & pretended he never saw it. Guessing it doesn’t matter much to the owner or management if a guest has one or two bad experiences, as my experience has noticed much more support of Fresh Thymes employees badmouthing customers, rather than sincerely considering the customer’s experience from order to eating.

I thought the food here was good. I like that it's kind of al-la-cart style. We ordered a set of wings, and two half/half dishes with wings and sides. All were very good. I'd go back and I recommend.

Yummy food, lots of vegan and veggie options. Friendly staff. Cauliflower tacos (pictured) was fab!

I just have to say this place has quality food and is AMAZING. If ever in the Boulder area I would definitely recommend. I had the gold bowl and it was incredible. Thank you for always a great experience!

The food is great - both healthy and delicious. Only complaints are that it's on the pricey side and can be pretty slow around the lunch rush hour. Definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

Well presented and excellent flavor! Nice quant eatery too! Loved the vibe! Solid vegan choices on the menu.

My local go-to for healthy, locally sourced and nutrient packed meals. All gluten-free with paleo, vegan and vegetarian options. Top picks are the cauliflower tacos, diva salad and seasonal counter options.

I had the best pizza of my life here! Even my hubby who has no dietary restrictions had a fantastic meal! My only complaint is you don’t deliver to Wisconsin ? If you ever decide to do online cooking classes I’d be the first to sign up! You can bet the next time I’m in the area I will be there! Thank you, Thank you, Thank You?

First time at fresh thymes. I payed 19$ for a burger that was a dry, flavorless meatball. It did not fit the bun and it was so bland. Came with a bland side salad. So disappointing.
