Fast friendly service and delicious food, what more do you want? Great place.

The disappointment in my brother’s face is from the $13 combo fried rice size and a total of TWO shrimp. As for myself, my Mongolian beef with lite onions and fried rice was good. Overpriced in my opinion, but it’s Boulder. North Boulder at that. This order came out to $32 plus tax.*As I was writing the review and eating, the fork literally snapped in half. 4 stars to 3 just for the pour cutlery.

Food is incredibly delicious but apparently mgmt is not competent. A strong manager would have this place running smoothly and people positioned in ways that will help this place better serve customers. The current employees don't see the obvious and easy issues going on and there's LOTS of employee's here.. one issue being taking too much orders inside store without telling new walk ins to please wait one moment while fulfilling other very easy no brainer tasks like putting more ice in ice bins. It's the weakest run restaurant I've ever witnessed. I know the biz too as j've been in all positions previously. Also, as a employee you never tell a customer that you're too busy to do something while you're at the location of the issue and then go ask another employee to do it. The inside is not even packed. Weak, weak workers. Weakly ran store. Never got my iced tea so they threw me a hot one and I added ice. Threw meaning left it and ran off. Hire Bourdain or whatever his name is because I'm a top ten % food writer and this is a one star joint. Taste is 5 Star so far. So matter fact i'll raise to 2.

Do not recommend food is worst, wouldn't put anything from here In my body. Odd color meat threw away food

This in my opinion is the best Chinese place in Boulder. Reasonably priced, very good food. Everything I have ordered here has been pleasing to me. Would highly recommend.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Was not impressed with any of the food. Crab cheese Wontons were horrible, sesame chicken, the chicken was over cooked breading all mushy. Fried rice was not even fried rice. Most everything we ordered went in the trash. We only gave China Gourmet a chance because our favorite place is closed on Sundays. And never again I highly recommend do not waste your time and money not worth it.

I specifically asked for extra duck sauce on my Uber order. I received zero sauce, nothing and when I called the manager was rude and claimed I never requested it and in order to receive any sauce you must ask, I did. Don’t order from this restaurant and the food was also 2 stars at best

REALLY LOVE this place. BUT sometimes on Sunday nights when you try to order at 7 pm (when they close at 9 pm), they answer the phone & tell you , quote : "they have stopped taking orders for the night because they've already made enough money". SUPER unprofessional, the business owners should know about this extremely poor customer service as their food is really good.EDIT : I wish someone had explained to me it was Covid /short staff related , I would have completely understood! But , on Sunday Jan 2nd : I began calling around 712 pm but got a busy signal . I finally got thru at 726 pm & had a 16 second conversation with a male employee who did in fact answer the phone, and tell me , quote :"we have stopped taking orders , we've made enough money" .Just in case you'd like to review your past schedules & fill in the employee who was working that night on the correct verbage he should be using with customers .

We found a large dead insect in a wonton soup that was delivered. Very nasty and disturbing. It's the dark brown thing in the photo. Be warned.

They are great and YES they accept credit cards and YES they have comfortable indoor tables. The description is outdated.
