Best Thai food in boulder hands down! Crispy parcels and chicken Penang curry are our favorites. Xtra chicken for only a couple dollars makes it easily a meal for two.
First ever resturant review here. Been a frequent customer of Buddha Thai for over a year at this point, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone that asks. It has the best prices when compared to folsom thai, aloy thai or thai avenue (all of which I used to frequent before trying buddha), has the fastest prep times while maintaining their staple quality that has kept me coming back. Come in at lunch and they give you a free sweet and sour soup. Just another reason to give buddha Cafe a try. Major shout out to the owner who I see working his *** off every time I come in! Not sure what to get? Try the drunken noodles or pad thai which I'd recommend to litteraly anyone.
Pad Thai is very good here. Not super oily. Comes with lots of chicken, Brussels sprouts and peanuts. Good portion size as well.
What happened?I've been coming here for years because of how much I loved this place, tonight for whatever reason it just wasn't good. Especially the spring rolls, I don't know what they changed or did to them but they were half the size they used to be and filled with this awful gross mush. The other two dishes were fine, but still not as good as they used to be. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt because I know this place can be good and every place is going to have bad nights. Hope this isn't the new normal for Buddha.Update: My partner's dish make him really sick. I don't know when we're going to try Buddha again, but tonight it was very extremely off. Lost my favorite go to place.
I was hopeful, since my friend suggested this place. The place is clean, and the food was good, especially the papaya salad. I asked for Thai hot curry, and my dish wasn't even medium. So, if you're looking for heat, this either isn't your place, or you need to make really sure they understand what you want.Other than that, it's good enough.
We ordered a few times before, and it was always great.Today, was the first time we dinned in and it was a bit disappointing. The service was slow and the food was just okay. BTW; We ordered fried rice & pad see ew.
I don't understand why this place has good reviews. This was the most bland, flavorless pork pad Thai I've ever had in my life. Ordered medium spicy, but literally no spice, or flavor, even in the pork.
Been going here to get pizza since I was a kid and they still got it. BIG slices. New York style pizza. (And yes don't worry Boulder they do gluten free)
Walked in the door and got annihilated by smoke from the grill. It was overwhelming but we still tried to dine in. However shortly after we found out that all of the vegetarian options were made with fish or shrimp sauce se we left. Needless to say we smelt like fried fish sauce for hours
This is the BEST restaurant in all of Boulder. Perfect spice levels, large portions, and affordable prices. Not to mention the whole staff is so friendly! This is by far my favorite restaurant.
