The Embassy Suites Boulder is a great experience for families. The made to order breakfast has items that the whole family. The evening reception is great for parents to unwind. If you stay please say hello to Temple in the bar, she will take care of your request with a smile.

Temple did an amazing job keeping everyone happy and content, she was friendly and happy to everyone at the pub. I have no problem eating dinner here each night that I visit, instead of venturing out to the city.

Very central and convenient hotel. Well equipped and With all facilities (especially large garage, breakfast room and indoor restaurant and bar). Pool is clearly a plus! Laundry is also useful for family stays. Only downside: fan can’t be completely switched off at night and can be noisy depending on your noise sensitivity. Very nice and helpful personnel.

I sat at the bar tonight with Temple and had amazing service. I would highly recommend anyone in Boulder coming to experience this bar. They are friendly, efficient, and really down to earth. I will be coming back every time I come to Boulder.

My sister and I met here for a small conference and to get some time together. The hotel staff was friendly and working VERY hard to take care of all the guests. And there were A LOT of guests to look after. We had lunch delivered to our meeting daily and all of the selections were tasty and well prepared. They had a great breakfast every morning that can accommodate any dietary choice and again, the staff was working their BUTTS off but smiling and friendly. I’m the evening, guests can gather in the beautiful hotel bar area for fruits, cheeses and vegetables to snack on and complementary drinks until 6:30. Again… so many of us, so few of these hard working staff members, yet always they greeted you with a smile and acknowledging it may take them a minute but they would be getting to you timely. I think we’ve all gone back to traveling and forgotten how hard it is for these hotels, the employees and management to care for us all. They did an excellent job, ALL of them, at every interaction. My sincere appreciation to the wait staff, the kitchen staff and the front desk and house keeping. I’m on a 5 week journey and your hospitality made me feel comforted and cared for. Also. The beds, pillows, sheets and towels were super comfortable and high quality. The gym was in great shape but the hotel is located close to trails so it’s easy to get a workout in outside. They also have bikes for rent! Thank you for the two diet cokes and dark chocolate and for mailing me my meds I left behind. You guys really work as a team and it shows.

Well-appointed, comfortable rooms. Very friendly and accommodating staff. You might pay a bit more due to its's central location. But, I find the location well worth it. I have stayed in many Hiltons over many years and this one does not disappoint!

Two adults and two teenagers they gave us a king bed and a full size pullout sofa. Kids were a boy and girl not related. So an adult had to sleep on the sofa sleeper. Very uncomfortable. Very small room for the price. I will not be back.

This hotel is in just about the perfect location for any kind of visit to CU, or for anyone looking to be in the heart of Boulder. The room was clean upon arrival, everything in working order. The room did show some signs of wear and tear, especially on the bottoms of doors and such; it's clear that this place gets a lot of traffic. There were no luggage racks in the room, so had to call for a couple, which appeared pretty quickly. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was spacious, with a small step in the shower. Lots of amenities available in the bathroom. Nicely fluffy towels. The room had a mini kitchen area, with sink. Mini microwave and fridge, with a pod coffee maker. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful and very well organized. It's the same thing every day, so not a lot of variety, but the food was good and plentiful, the buffet space large for good traffic management, the items refreshed/refilled constantly, and everything nice and clean. I have to say that the selection of hot sauces on offer is the absolute best I have ever encountered in a hotel restaurant--good on them! There is no a la carte for the breakfast; it's buffet only. Also, there is no check, no wait service, no signing for breakfast, none of that, which was very nice. Lots of dining and shopping available within an easy walk, including bagles, Thai, a BJ's brewhouse, etc. Parking is good, in a nice garage directly below. Note that they stick you for $20/day to park your own vehicle. We had a problem in the middle of the stay with a hotel evacuation in the middle of the day, apparently not a drill. My partner, mobility-challenged with a cane, was rushed down the stairs, with no one on the staff asking if she needed any assistance. This blew out her sciatica and severely affected our activities for the rest of the trip. I explained this to the manager and then to the operations manager, who listened and made a very nice adjustment to our nightly rate for the rest of the stay. Fair solution to the problem. Bottom Line: this was an enjoyable stay in a nice, clean, welcoming place. Definitely would stay here again.

First the good news: Very quiet rooms, pleasant staff, good housekeepers. Breakfast was good. Now for the bad news. We stayed there during a Dead concert (for the record Your Honor, we did not go to the concert and we were stone cold sober), so the rooms were grossly overpriced. We started off badly: the toilet seat was hanging by a thread from the toilet! Found that out the hard way! Use your imagination if you must. Maintenance staff said that was just they way it was. I said I didn't want to feel as if I was on the Titanic every time I used the toilet. Front desk person came up, tried everything, finally called someone for advice (it seemed as if he he was on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire) and finally fixed it. But the problems went on. The shower door was designed backwards according to another maintenance person, so the floor flooded every time we took showers. My husband or I had to take turns to keep the towels moving as the river migrated across the bathroom floor. We are not hydrologists. Just wanted showers. While the repair man was there, I noted that when we checked in, there was only one washcloth for two of us. I asked if we could have another. He told us that there weren't enough washcloths to go around because guests steal them. The lonely little washcloth we had was quite minimal and I cannot imagine who would want it, but I take his word for it that they do get stolen. But if Days Inns and Motel 6s furnish washcloths for each guest, one would imagine that Embassy Suites could do the same. The ice machine on our floor didn't work. It got to be funny to hear people cursing the machine every time we walked by it. We had felt that way ourselves until we finally learned that if we wanted ice badly enough we had to go to another floor. Hotel staff claimed guests didn't know how to use the ice machine, but the machines on other floors were identical, so they should have just admitted the problem and fixed the darn thing rather than blame the guests. The pool was interesting. We were guests for a week including an overpriced weekend when the hotel was very full. Several of our group wanted to visit with each other since our families are bi-coastal. But there were no chairs empty at the pool. Some guests were sitting on the cement floors. But two of our party leaned on the "planters" for support. They were told by a maintenance man not to lean on the planters because the planters were so flimsy they would not support them. I have no idea what those planters were doing there. They looked quite substantial, but apparently they were just flimsy window dressing. They had a few underdeveloped begonia seedlings in them. More chairs would have been a lot more useful! Finally, the layout of the hotel was confusing. Exit signs were plentiful, but they are required by law. Signs showing where the elevators were would have been helpful. We did appreciate all the exit signs leading to stairwells when the hotel was evacuated for a burnt popcorn emergency. I know my sense of direction is deficient, but I wasn't the only one lost in there. At first I thought i was being unreasonable in my criticisms, but after listening to other guests grumbling, it seemed to me as if management should go undercover and just walk around listening to what guests are saying and try to improve things. Or maybe they've already done that and just don't care.

I was hesitant on ordering a crispy chicken sandwich from a “hotel restaurant and bar” but I’m SO glad I did. The room service was quick and hot, and it was the best chicken sandwich I’ve had.
