Nice venue with good acoustics. The seating (if you go that route), is both tight and less than comfortable. Decent food options
Really fun venue! The set up is awesome and I like that the balcony has a couch area in the back to relax if you need to take a break. All the bartenders were awesome and quick. Perfectly mixed drinks every time no matter who you went to. If you live in the area or are visiting Boulder, go see a show here, even if you don't know the artist!

A great place to see a stage show, and my visit to see Uncle Hank unload for 150 minutes straight with no break, no pause, and not a drop of water was the perfect show for this venue.There's a lot of history in this building, and it is evident in everything from the creak of the planks in the floors, and stairs - to the whiff of the last legal cigarettes smoked in there in the 80s.If you expect luxury in the Boulder, you expected wrong. If you expect a venue with more soul than a James Brown record, you will get your money's worth.
Great place to see small shows
I greatly enjoyed the seating arrangement. My prior visits to the Boulder Theater had me sitting in a too-small rickety movie theater-ish seats that were probably the original seats from the opening of the theater itself. Plenty of room, good lighting… looks like the Boulder Theater has been spiffed up some. I most certainly approve! ??
It's a great live music venue. It's in beautiful Boulder. What's not to love? That's a rhetorical question.
