I agree completely with the past few reviews. I have NEVER paid $17 for a 6 piece tiny California roll that was falling apart and didn’t even taste good. I don’t know how they came up with these prices. If they were the same quality as Nobu maybe that would be understandable but it was horrible. The green tea was $4.00 for a single tea bag in a huge pot of water. Overall awful quality, terrible prices, NOT WORTH IT. I have had much higher quality sushi at half the cost, the owner needs to take a hard look at how they are running their business and readjust accordingly.

This restaurant is humorously pretentious. Good quality fish stuffed into poorly made sushi. Too much rice and too little fish. For the price, I wouldn't have expected a spiral in the rice and nori. None of the servers were proficient in their menu or ordering system (toast). It took 10 minutes to get ginger and wasabi after I asked. It's the type of place that will point out that reservations are needed even though the place was empty. It's a one and done place. I can go get omakase with premium fish for half the price within a 5 minute drive.

I ordered a salmon roll but wasn’t able to find any salmon. They should sell it as an avocado roll with a tiny smell of salmon. This place doesn’t worth spending money and time. The order was made under my husband name.

That was a mistake. 40 bucks for a tiny 6 piece roll and two tuna pieces. Not bad but not the best either. The seaweed wrap is tough and tastes too strong. Just incredibly expensive for the portions to the point it ruined the meal. Looking at other menus there isn't a reason for it either. I'm not looking for cheap but I'm not looking to pay 100 bucks to be full either. Well at these portions it would be 120.

Some of the high volume stuff is fresh (salmon), but the specialty stuff isn’t. Food quality is on par with dollar sushi… hate to say it.On the upside, the delivery packaging is awesome!

Best sushi I’ve ever had with perhaps the exception of Japan. Legitimate real deal. Fish super fresh.

Great service and great food too!! I loved the miso salmon it was so good! The inside is so cute, it is a super fun place to go with friends and family too!!

The sushi is quite good and the service is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the lunch.

For the price, the service and experience was very underwhelming, much better sushi places around. Waitress was nice, but they seemed understaffed and disorganized. Fish was good, but the chefs plate for $120 was pretty underwhelming.

I’m honestly surprised at how many good reviews this place has. I was even more shocked to see how many reviews said it was “the best sushi in boulder.” Those people have obviously never had good sushi. In my opinion, you’d be better off going to Japango or Osaka’s. Sushi was fine, but way overpriced for what it was. I paid $15 for a california roll… let that sink in… a california roll. And a simple avocado roll was $10. My friend and I go out for sushi at least twice a month and we’ve tried places all over colorado, this would definitely be in the bottom 5. The service was good, but none of the staff were wearing masks. I saw a review that says the same thing 3 months ago. Sad to see a Boulder business refusing to follow the mandate for months on end as numbers only continue to rise…. Save your money!
