Like other reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor, the food was good but the woman owner was SO rude. I do understand she was working alone and it was busy but I had never been there before. I didn't know how the restaurant worked so I asked, and she snapped at me. She told me that this place wasn't like fast food that that I would have to be patient. I was shocked by her response, I was polite and calm and I just asked a simple, non-threatening question. All throughout our meal she continued to be incredibly rude. Also, we had gotten a coffee earlier in the morning and had the empty togo cup on our table. She barked at us telling us that they don't allow outside items. We told her it was empty and that we didn't see a trash can and she rolled her eyes and told us to keep our trash. My mom was in town visiting and it was really embarrassing to take her to a place where we were treated so poorly. I can't believe how rude people can be.
I love this place! Every bite and swallow is delectable. She offers a relaxing outdoor patio, or a cute, cozy and cool indoor experience. Try everything, on multiple visits. Can't be beat for a delicious breakfast (yummy Arabic coffee!) or lunch. Lovely and talented chef/ proprietor.
Best lunch in town! Beautiful outdoor and indoor seating. Beautiful food and best chai ever!
Really wish I could give 4.5 stars. The lunch sampler was really good, the atmosphere was relaxed, and our service was great, especially consider it was one person for the from of the house. I'll definitely return soon.
One of the best meals I've ever had in Boulder. You can feel the love in this food. The outdoor patio is lovely and tucked away. Everything is delicious, the quiche especially blew my mind.
Arabesque catered a baby shower for 24 guests. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The tabbouleh rivaled that of my own Lebanese mother and the fatayer, hummous, and baba ganoush were magnificent. The crowning glory was the very best tiramisu I have ever tasted, creamy with a perfect balance of flavors.
Stopped here after a hike for something light and delicious and we really enjoyed it! All in all we ordered the chicken shwarma, grape leaves, tabbouleh, and baklava — all of it was fresh, and flavorful! Also this is a family run place and both of the folks working at the time were incredibly friendly. Will be stopping here more often!
Food:- mediocre at best. I wanted a shawarma plate, I got a vegetables plate with 3 tiny slices of beef.Service:the lady (I believe chef and owner) was rude to us like we were bothering her or something. Very negative atmosphere. It is my first and last time eating here.Advice to the owner:- get someone to help you in the restaurant- be nice to customers- get mental health evaluation/help (I am not kidding)Alternative options for customers:- if you want great middle eastern food and a pleasant experience, go to Ali Baba Grill
Horrible owner! Very RUDE!! Acts like she has the best food in the world! Like she owes us something. Honestly, her food is 3/10. She kept yelling & calling us names!!! How could a person with there right mind do that??? What is this women?
Delicious food and great service. I visited with a friend for lunch and we both got the chicken shawarma plate. The chicken was delicious and well seasoned. It came with a refreshing sauce and the best hummus I have ever had. After we got the tiramisu which was amazing. Highly recommend checking this place out.
