Went in on a Friday night and I think we must of beat the rush of a high holiday because right at sundown, the place crowded in. There were wonderful dishes coming out of the kitchen at break neck speeds too. We started with ganoush (creamy and delicious) and got.two entrees; lamb haneeth and lamb kebabs. Both served on a bed of rice. Food was really good. Next time, I might ask them to hold back on some of the raw onions on top though. Service was quick and polite . This is the kind of place that can only happen in Aurora and makes me proud to live here.
Good food, bad service. The young man who served us was dry and serious. None of the workers seemed to be happy. Their face was like this :(. They had only 4 menus. 4!!!! They didn’t give you any water. So we had to get our waters from the car. The food was good. We got hot tea which was for someone else. It took over 45 mins for the women to get her tea she originally ordered. The 2 workers that were brothers started fighting over the tea which was kinda awkward. The rice was dry too.
Kabob shop with a focus on lamb. The lamb option I went with was solid, and the saffron rice was above average. Falafel was decent, but nothing special. Hummus was pretty good. Owner was very friendly.
We had the combination plate. It was delicious.tue staff was helpful since this was our first time here restaurant was very clean. the seating was comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I randomly chose this place to eat and all i can say it was an absolute pleasure. The food is really amazing, great service, definitely be back here. I highly recommend checking it out.
Fries and lemon mint juice were good. The staff were also friendly enough. We got the small mix grill. The chicken tawook and lamb kebab were burnt on one side and ironically, rather cold. Portions were a little uneven - tiny bit of salad, an abundance of fries and little bit of hummus. Final price also looked higher than what was advertised in the menu’s. Left disappointed overall. Proceed with caution - don’t trust the reviews.
Really good food! They had lamb that was fall off the bone and fork tender! It was delicious! Definitely will come back here again.
The food was somewhat warm. I won't say much about customer service because it just wasn't the best. Definitely not worth the price for the meal, NOPE. But the mango drink was delicious. Better places out there :)
This is a counter service restaurant and it took almost 40 mins to get our food. We’re not from the area, so maybe that’s the norm here? Even so, that’s a bit long. I ordered falafel - but it is not the traditional green inside Arab style, it’s a drier, mushier brown version. Hummus ok, salad & rice ok. Not much more than that, but there did seem to be many locals there so maybe I’m off. What I know I’m not off on: the restaurant isn’t clean. The light fixtures hang by dust covered cord. Seats areripped and patched, silverware cheap; so I guess if you’re just looking for basic place to grab a bite it’s ok.
Finding Yemen Grill was one of my favorite moments of 2021! Amazing food and flavors! The lamb in the dish I got was so tender that it falls apart when touched by a fork. The rice was delicious and the tomato sauce we got for the rice made it even better. We loved the personable customer service. Our server always seemed to know when we needed something and was so kind and welcoming. We've already been back twice and will visit often.
