Such a great experience. Amazing bagels and coffee!
I like their food, but have had mediocre experiences. I tried to order a turkey club sandwich online today to pick up at noon. After the order was placed the receipt informed me that it would not be ready until 8:15am tomorrow. I called to try and fix this, and they informed me that all online orders were being bumped to the next day because they are short staffed. After I said I didn’t want my turkey club at 8am, they agreed to make it for lunch today. Sadly, they put mustard on the sandwich even though I requested “no mustard”, and it’s too much of a zoo for me to get it fixed before going to back class. I’ve heard better things about Root and Sprig which is also on campus.
I'm not sure what happened to this place. It was fantastic pre-pandemic, excellent coffee, friendly competent staff, consistently good quality food and relatively affordable; however, post-pandemic reopening, it's really a complete change for the worse. Unhappy staff members (one member actually calling customers stupid for asking about dressing choices), inconsistent food quality, and inconsistent hours with poor/conflicting signage indicating said changes to hours. Pretty disappointing really.
Bit pricy, paying for the convenience factor. Don't find the coffee to be especially good. Bagels are tasty an breakfast sandwiches/burritos are usually pretty good.
I ordered a baker's dozen bagels and coffee for my office and not only were we short on bagels but they didn't provide the coffee condiments. For 80 bucks, I expected better service.
Went in to place my order, and pickup my co-workers online order. I specifically stated when ordering that I wanted overeasy eggs while ordering. While my order is being prepared, I'm told the only have scrambling eggs at this location. UC nurse wing (Aurora) I saw them scooping pre-made scrambled eggs onto my avocado toast. I'm hungry, and I have already paid for it, so I take it. I get back to the office. My co-worker's bagel is so burnt she can't eat it. This location is not a real Woodgrain Bagel &deli. Go to Lowry location if you can. This place is worse than an a junior high school cafeteria.
Staff appear easily irritated and bagels are always burnt to a crisp, but nothing beats the convenience I guess

Friendly Staff and got my food very quickly I will likely go back at some point.
Waited over 10 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese and a tea. Finally left without my food so I wouldn't be late to work. I did call and they said they'd refund me and in the future I should let them know I need my food ASAP. I didn't think it would take over 10 minutes to put cream cheese on a bagel.
