Excellent family owned and operated restaurant. Local, friendly feel but also a romantic venue.
The staff was amazing. Food delicious! Steak was overdone and they replaced it immediately ! A lovely comfortable place !
This is a great place for date night or drinks and apps with a friend. I loved the offerings of entrees, charcuturie, and cheese boards, which are great for sharing. Even flat bread pizzas. And the wine flights were diverse and fun to try!
Great food and wine. We very much enjoyed our 50th Anniversary dinner.
Fabulous evening with witty waiters, delicious food, classic wine and jazz music!!!
Wonderful food. Prompt service. Attentive and knowledgeable sommelier.
They were very knowledgeable about the wine! My wife and I each had a flight of wine and they gave us backstory on each glass. Very thorough! We shared a half caprese salad, which was just right and my wife loved the lobster ravioli. I ordered the steak frites(medium rare) and the first time it came out medium to medium well. They then made a second and it came out overcooked as well. Would go back just wouldn’t order the steak.
We recently moved to Colorado and we love our wine. My wife and I went here to try it out and everything was phenomenal. We started with the baked fromage which was to die for (we even took one home for dessert). Then, we had a bottle of Caymus (1 liter bottle) and the price was very reasonable. We also had the Caprese salad and steak tenderloin with au Poivre sauce. It melted in our mouths it was so good. Will definitely be our go to spot.
Look at all the bad reviews and we experienced a bit of each. Handicap access was blocked. Cluttered wine shop entryway. Untrained and indifferent staff! Was not greeted for over 7 minutes after being seated (wasn't busy). When placing our drink order I asked about the wine rating on a brand called "Kitchen Sink". The server thought I was asking about the actual kitchen sink in their kitchen and rated it as "A". New bottle of wine poured into old bottle glass. Food came out different than description on menu. Bun verses croissant. Crab ball verses cake. All served cold! Paid Bread basket was good! Manager indifferent and our table was ignored for 15 minutes after we kindly explained our expectations were not met. We just wanted to pay and leave. Finally the owner came over and said our complaints didn't make sense and used excuses, plus he was busy with the wine tasting event outside. Thankfully, he comped 2 meals. We did not punish our server and tipped 25%. It certainly wasn't his fault that he was not trained.
The food and wine pairing was excellent as usual. Eldon was a gracious host making the rounds to every table. Always greets you as if you are an old friend. You feel that he truly values your business. The food as always is delicious.
