Delicious and fantastic service. Got the Pae Paratha, Shan Noodles, Beef Curry and Tea Leaf Salad. All delicious. So glad to have authentic Burmese food in Denver.
The reviews do not lie, the food here is fantastic. $14 after tax for a sampler plate. The tea salad was amazing, and I’m not even a big salad guy. It was crunchy, spicy, and savory, with a uniquely delicious blend of flavors.
The Sil Cheh Kao Sweh garlic noodles with pork was amazing! Very friendly owner too!
I tried a new cuisine today. The flavors were amazing and different even though I'd been to that part of the world. I ordered based on the reviews I'd read. The lemony flavored noodle dish was very good, as was the tea leaf salad. The owners were super nice, especially the man who brought out my meal.I docked a star for two reasons..The chairs are metal and not comfortable. (I opted to not sit at the couch, namely because their young child was playing there.)And, I would have loved to get a half order of the salad, one: to save a little on cost, and two: I had no idea if I'd like it or not. It was too much food and more than I usually try to spend at lunch.I'm uncertain if I'll return to eat here, but it's worth mentioning that the setting is rather like a community center with shops and other food stands and services. Score on the new find.. The market was very cool!
This is the most authentic and delicious Burmese restaurant I've tried and the craziest thing is, it's better than the ones I've tried in San Francisco. What a treat to have this in Denver's backyard, we're so lucky. We tried the Tea Leaf Salad, Shan Noodles, and SII Cheh Kao Sweh Noodles. The first noodle dish is in a broth. The second dish is a dry noodle which comes with a side of small broth. Everything was so good, the SII Cheh Kao Sweh was mind blowing. We got a spice level of 3 out of 5 and that's perfect for us, a nice spicy kick, but I think you would probably want to stick around a 1 or 2 if you can't handle too much spice. I will absolutely be back. Don't skip this place, you'll regret it.
As a member of VisitAurora, we had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant. The staff was very committed to great service and were very friendly. We had a great time talking with the team and the atmosphere was awesome. The food was different and everything we ordered came out perfect. Thank you guys for the amazing experience, and we hope to stop by again soon.
I've heard amazing things about this place and it's all true! The food is delicious! We got a few different things and we're impressed by them all, but my personal favorite was the tea leaf salad. Highly recommend giving this little Burmese restaurant your business.
I went here with my friend and we thought we found a hidden little gem in Aurora. The marketplace was nice. The food at Urban Burma was really good. My food came a little cold, so I took it home to heat it up. The staff was very nice.
Friend alerted us to the Mango House food court, of sorts. Tried for lunch first time this month. Parking lot in back is free. Lock your car and do not leave any visible valuables in car. We saw some folks walking around and looking inside cars in the lot, one by one. And we were approached by panhandlers as we arrived and as we left. So FYI there, go with another person or two and do it in the daytime. Inside it was bright and clean and the food was great. Lots of options in the food court. I chose Urban Burma. They had great vegan options. Had samosas apppetizer and tea leaf salad. Delicious. Enjoyed eating there and would go again.
So good! Coconut noodles and tea salad are great!
