Chips and salsa were really good. The portions were big and the food was so good. What stood out the most to me though, the service!! By far some of the best service at a restaurant that my wife and I have had in a very long time. We found our new go-to Mexican food place.

The best restaurant in Colorado. Not just the best Mexican restaurant, but the BEST overall. Most of the food is tame. Not much spice unless you request it, but overall excellent Mexican food. Everything is fresh. The restaurant is clean and well-cared for. The food is so good that I keep coming back. I have more to say!I LOVE spice. I ordered a burrito and I asked that it would be made as spicy as possible. The waitress warned me of how spicy it would be. I told her it would be ok, and it was! I requested my burrito with habanero peppers, red chili flakes, and I ordered as side of roasted jalapenos. It was so spicy and so delicious! This is my favorite restaurant and I go here at least 3 times per week. If you are looking for a good place to eat, Senor Ric's has something for you. And if you are like me, they will accommodate your spice addiction. 10/10. I will go here for the rest of my life.

I had a wonderful time, the staff were nice and friendly. I would have given it a higher star, but it was a little pricey.

Great place for date night. The food was A+? The service fast and courteous. Our waiter Cole and our busser Marcelo were very friendly and courteous.Ps. The Cadillac margarita was very good!.I would recommend this place for sure.

We tried this place after hitting a couple of other Mexican restaurants that were extremely busy and were pleasantly surprised. Food was good and reasonably priced. It was quiet and the service was fantastic. We will be going back.

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant since I was 10, I am now 40.... so many, many, many years! We have always had amazing experiences and service! The two stars are definitely NOT for the food...this past weekend, (I am hoping it was a off day) the vibe was uncomfortable and not the atmosphere in the past years. The male manager was pretty rude to me and another group of gals that came in after us. For the most part the bar has been open setting, I totally understand if COVD has changed that, but we came last year and it was open setting. If that is something they have changed then I suggest putting a sign at the bar entrance asking people to wait to be seated. But instead the manager and staff chase people out asking they "check" in first.Out waiter was great and the food, as always is delicious. But they have also changed out all the tables to round tables and not square tables. They are uncomfortable to sit at and enjoy your company and food. They are small tables, so good luck it you are a party of more then 2. Again, the vibe and atmosphere have really changed and its a real bummer because this used to be the "go to" restaurant for me and my family. Fingers crossed things go back to what it used to be and the male manager was just having a bad day.

It has been many years since I have been here. Took my my son & granddaughter. What a wonderful experience. Our waiter Victor was the best. He was very attentive to our needs. Could not have asked for better. His backup bus boy who I did not get his name was just as much on task. The food was generous in portions and was still just as good as I remembered. Great place for a date night or family dinner.

Came to this restaurant on Saturday and received our chips and salsa. We found that the chips were just crumbs so we asked for some more chips as these were all broken up and the young girl who asked if we wanted more chips, somehow took offense to us asking for more complete chips and stormed off ignoring our additional questions. When she returned she threw the salsa and ships down spilling everywhere including the top of the salt shaker. I asked to talk to the manager and when he came by the table he only offered excuses as to why her attitude was so bad going as far as to tell us her, "life was not going good and she just found out she was pregnant" he also explained that she has been having attitude problems and he was, "just about to send her home". First of all, the manager was full of excuses rather than addressing the girl who, by the way continued to work, and there was no indications of sending her anywhere. An employees bad day is not a customer's problem, but quickly becomes one when they acts with immaturity. A manager's place is NOT to tell a customer why an employee is acting a certain way, as an excuse, only that he is addressing the situation and make is better for the customer. The manager has no business sharing personal information of any of their employees, especially medical information. The manger mentioned she is having attitude problems, well maybe she should go home or take a required break to get her back on track. After reading another review from Shyla S on 1/12 it seems the attitude problems at this place is a common problem fostered by the management. While the management did not accomplish to display that the the ability to lead nor direct their people and provide a good customer experience, they did accomplished to show us that they will divulge their employees personal and medical situations and they accomplished to lose a customer who will make sure everyone I know knows this and goes elsewhere!

The food is mediocre, especially compared to other Mexican restaurants near by.Their policy is to add gratuity on parties of six or more. For some reason our server added gratuity on our party of four automatically. Don’t get me wrong, I tip. I just also feel a certain kind of way when servers feel the need to TAKE their tip when it is not the restaurant’s policy. I won’t be back.In this instance it explicitly matters because we were splitting the bill amongst two cards and the tip was going to be paid separately in cash. But after reviewing the bill we saw the tip was already charged.Edited to add: I recommend Guadalajara just a few minutes away.

Really doesn't compare to what Denver has to offer in terms of Mexican food. The food looks and tastes very cheap, and not fresh, all packaged and pre-ordered. The staff was nice.
