Overall I was pleased. Had an delicious Perfect Patron margarita. My carne asada sandwich was good. Service was alright, but I felt like they were ready for us to get out when I didn’t feel like we were loitering quite yet.
Slow/poor service on a Memorial Monday evening. Took the family in for dinner. I ordered steak/shrimp Fajitas. When the food came out, all the food for the table came out (including the fixings for fajitas) then it was another 10 minutes before the steak/shrimp fajitas skillet arrived. Refills on water were hard to get as well. Likely won’t go back as there are many other Mexican food options in Denver area.
This place's management and staff are completely checked out. They can't get a simple pick up order right no matter how many times we order from them, and then they refuse to issue a refund unless you drive all the food back to them first. Beer taps are always broken, food quality is extremely inconsistent even when they manage to get the basic details of the order correct. There are many better Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood, skip this place.
We usually dine in. Ordered a carry out today for the Chilli relleno vegetarian, got a meat one. I am a Vegetarian. Very disappointed, have to go to bed without dinner!
Pretty decent Mexican food. The bean dip they brought out with chips and salsa was tasty (and I really don't like beans). Wouldn't recommend the Paella. Bit on the wet side. Shredded beef was really good. Chili Relleno with green chili was excellent (soft). Problem with CO Mexican food is it's pretty bland. Good flavor but could use a little more salt in their dishes. And the biggest bonus, the food came out hot.
My potna turned me onto this spot, couple minutes from the jobSteak ? burrito ? & ground beef burritoSh!t was fire ?I’m a be back so I can sample some more items on the menuBar looks good also, have a couple drinks ? with a lady friend & see what happens. So check em out if ya ever in the neighborhood and holla at a Playa ??
Dinner for two, yes please! The cucumber mint margarita was perfect, Real de Minas Mexican Restaurant Did not disappoint. We enjoyed the Parrillada de Carne ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yummo!! For only$48.50 for 2 or $83.50 for 4 you get what you pay for and more! The Grilled chicken was delicious and the beef cooked to perfection, the shrimp was so good (wish they put more in) it was served with grilled onion, bell peppers and chile toreados. I loved the side of frijoles churros, and the baked potato topped with butter and sour cream, queso fundido (choice of chorizo or Anaheim pepper) and choice of flour or corn. We got the peppers and flour tortillas. I HIGHLY recommend this dish, we brought the rest home and it was our lunch the next day. Well with the price! Thank you we will be coming back again soon.
Sunday night, first visit. We had a short wait, then a great dinner with on point service from Chris. Carne Asada Plate was smoky, tender and very flavorful. Shrimp tacos also smoky and good. House margs were well flavored without being sugary sweet. Sopapillas were hot, fresh and thin and arrived on a plate with cinnamon sugar, crema and chocolate syrup. We have never had this presentation before, but loved them. We'll be back!
Went here recently to celebrate galentine’s with my girlfriends. While there were a couple of instances when our server was rude to us, the worst was when we were asked to leave the restaurant early because they had a staff meeting. We chose the place mainly cos they were open till 10pm and we had a late start due to our week day commitments. We went in at 8pm and were asked to leave at 9:40pm.Food and drinks were pretty good, not over the top and not bad either!
Had a small group event with 9 people. We're quickly accolades with reservation. Wait staff took all the orders Nd food arrived quickly and was quite tastey. Dtaff was friendly Nd efficient. Food was very good. Overall a great experience.
