While on holiday, we had take-away for eight, everyone from grandma to the three year old really enjoyed our meal from Portico!The sauces were incredibly delicious, vegatable perfectly tender and crisp and the portions were very generous.We sat in the restaurant and had Ethiopian beers and the most delicious coffee. All of the staff and were attentive, service and care was exemplary.I enjoyed left overs for a midnight snack!
The staff was excellent! very welcoming, very helpful. I really appreciate a staff that really guides you through their menu, especially when you’re new to their food/culture. We got the lamb and the beef and they were both by far my favorite. I’m definitely going to bring my friends here to experience the amazing food that they have here. The presentation was wonderful, The second I walked in there I honestly felt like I was going to church because they had some kind of incense going and it smelled divine. the bathrooms were excellent condition.
Great Ethiopian food. We had good service, and cozy atmosphere. The owner stopped by our table and welcomed us which was nice. The prices were great for the amount of food we got.
This food is delicious I actually ran up on it through a few good friends and I ordered some for myself and my family this evening and oh my God it was a delicious just like a see if you were still sitting there. I would recommend your restaurant to plenty of friends. If I could some it all up (delicious)…..
The Lamb awaze tibsi with enjera was the single best Ethiopian meal I’ve ever had and I love Ethiopian food. Highly recommend!

It's really a good bar and restaurant. They have variety of drinks and food menu's. The food is way too much compared to other Eritrean/Ethiopian restaurant's. The owner Awet and his Manager Henok are doing great jobs on maintaining the quality of the services.
Delicious. I've had Ethiopian/Eritrean food in many cities and this is definitely top 3 of all time for me!!! I had the vegetarian combo
