Place looks disgusting. The food is fine. Something fishy is going on here. Last summer it was the staff pocketing money most likely as they switched to cash only claiming "our card system is down" and then not able to provide a receipt.... I used to work that kinda stuff. Now they have gone as blatant to just double charge my card. No question that the employees are figuring out ways to rip off the owner of the place, but come on....I won't be back, clean it up Popeye's. Straight trash hole.

Went through the drive-thru today and it was definitely more of a rollercoaster ride.I have never been here before and I pulled through the drive-thru to the sign with the menu. I did not know that's where I was supposed to order my food as no one said anything until a few minutes after I pondered the menu.While ordering, the lady was talking very fast and I had no clue what she was saying, despite telling her to repeat herself. Eventually I got my order across and was told to pull up.When I pulled up, the guy at the drive-thru did not say anything to me and everything seemed a bit chaotic, to say the least. It seemed like there was confusion with the orders and they did not know what my order was. The biggest thing I made out was "Who took his order?" I assume they were referring to me.Anyway, I re-told my order and was given my food. Although, I wasn't given a drink and was just told to have a nice day, then the guy at the window turned around and started talking to everyone else.On a more positive note, my 3-piece chicken tenders were pretty tasty.
The Popeyes at Chambers/Colfax in Aurora, CO is very shady. The workers don't give receipts and they can't comprehend basic orders (e.g., mild wings vs spicy wings). I was told to wait 20 mins for mild wings but went in the store after 12 mins and the order was already up but the man who took the order wasn't making any attempts to pack them, let alone bring them to my car. The food is good but the service is poor. I wouldn't be surprised if the registers come up short with that "no receipt" scam they're running. Popeyes, please try harder.
One of the Best chicken sandwiches on the market. The price is right too. The spicy sandwich tastes good.
I was at the drive thru having to repeat my order 3 times since he did not know English very well. He then put me on hold for a couple of minutes, and I had me repeat my order again. Then pulled up to the window, and was told they had to cook more spicy tenders. They had me go park and waiting another 7 minutes. He never came out so I went back in and they were just packing it. Took 17 minutes from start to finish. When I started to eat this at work, my roll was hard as a rock and brown. Chicken was good but that's it. HORRIBLE service, there's a reason why you never see a lot of cars there. I will never go back to that location.
Horrible food, and even worse customer service from the District Manager, Mike Escobedo.The restaurant failed to provide edible food, and I'm sorry, but if you spend $40 on a family meal, then you should get what you pay for. The food was disgusting. Biscuits were like hockey pucks, like they rebaked last weeks old ones. Chicken was dry and about 5 pieces were so small and dry there was nothing to even eat.
Quick and friendly service. I am a Native and that drive thru hasn't changed ever. It's been 40 years now. Please make it more convenient. Popeyes obviously makes plenty of money. Put it into you facility. The area isn't the best either.
Chicken was cold. It was regular instead of spicy. Biscuits were over cooked. Mashed potatoes did not have much gravy. Service was slow & staff not very friendly. I try this Popeyes about every 6months hoping for better results but never gets better.
So when you get their kids meal meal, they give you 4 chicken nuggets and a drink and no toy or no side. When you order a regular chicken sandwich with extra pickles they give you the spicy one and no pickles. And you order the lemonade slush that's on the menu but you don't get it cause he said you can only get it after noon and before three. What that heck? Was the first and last time I'm going there. Good job guys.
Had Popeyes ordered from here and they are usually good about getting your food delivered in a timely manner with the accurate order! Unfortuantely its usually cooled off by the time it's delivered, but thats okay (it's why we have microwaves, after all). The food is really good. This is the kind of food everytime you eat it, it hits a spot you didn't even know that you had, whether you're filling up on their tenders, sandwich nuggets, fries, mashed potatoes, etc. Will be ordering from and eating here again!
