They had what we wanted to order and the food was good but service was slooow due to staff members not paying attention (one girl was trying her best though). They were out of lots of things I heard other people trying to order. Clean!
I love this strawberry poppyseed salad with grilled chicken salad it is that bad!!!
Panera bread has lost its touch just a little bit. The menu is mid while the prices are high. When you order a bowl of soup, you get like a quarter of the bowl with soup. Not even half. Woulda taken pics of the soup but we were dining in and I don’t really take pics of food that much.
I spent most afternoons working here while on a monthlong internship, it was a great place to study. Plus they make a mean cinnamon sugar bagel.
So last May I stopped by to get breakfast after a cooperative lab exercise. I ordered an Asiago bagel and breakfast sandwich. They buzzed me and told me my bagel would be ready at the next counter. I saw the bagel and grabbed it to sit down and eat. I got my drink and was about to sit down to relax and rest my over taxed brain. The lady came from behind the counter screaming at me. I had no idea why. She demanded to see my receipt. I didn’t have one as I declined it at the register. She claimed I stole the food and asked me my name. I told her I was Paulie. She screamed in my face she called Dave. Employees witnessed it and seemed mortified. She berated me. I was clueless as to why. She actually put her hands on my plate and took the bagel. Apparently I took the incorrect bagel. She screamed and yelled in Spanish to her coworkers behind the counter. Finally I heard her scream my name and berate my as if I was a child when the bagel was ready. I don’t even go up. An associate approached me and handed me a slip with a phone number for the corporate office. I never asked but she said to call it and tell them everything.I called and in June got a call back. Here’s where it gets interesting. I was apologized to and told to come in and there would be a meal on the house from Richard. I went three weeks later to be met by the mean woman who told me unless Richard was present I’d have to pay. I just left. Then I got a call from the area supervisor I gave her all of the information and she promised the free meal. I informed her I wouldn’t go back to the location as I had another interaction with the lady (to be told she’s the manager) and could I just get credit at the Panera downtown. She agreed. I’ve received nothing in a year almost. I’ve made phone calls only to be ignored.20 bucks for a breakfast I didn’t eat and not one agreement have they kept. Just saying worst customer service ever.
I went there earlier today, the manager of the location was extremely rude, estefania i believe was her name. I came in around 1:30-2:00. She continuously asked me if my dog was a service dog, and asked if i had paper work to show that my dog is a service dog and that’s against the law. She continuously asked me, and even ended up saying even if she is a service dog according to the law she’s not allowed inside… As a manager she should not be talking to her customers this way and saying and asking things that are against the law. Everyone else was super kind and gave me no problems.. but the “leader” of the store doesn’t know the laws she needs to follow about the restaurant she’s “running”
I loved their breakfast sandwich but these cookies are not worth it and they do not taste good at all. I felt embarrassed after tasting them and sharing them with my coworkers.
The service was pretty okay. Not bad, not good. Although the food is delicious and you'll enjoy every bite you eat, beware if you eatinside, the tables are not wiped down and there's crumbs everywhere. The great thing is that Panera has a large space indoors so you will have plenty of options to sit in the restaurant. The fruit punch I got as a drink was watered down, so I ended up with the lemonade (10/10 recommend). It's great for a brunch get-together or by just yourself. Will definitely eat here again.
My daughter has been in the hospital since January 2 and loves Panera Bread which is across the street from UC Hospital. I went to pick up her breakfast before I went to visit her and I must say that Angel made my visit so much more pleasant and was kind and courteous. Good food, good service- thank you!
Worst Panera I've ever been to. Unknowledgeable staff, rude manager and the food was really lame at those overinflated prices. Seriously guys $16 for 1/2 a.. salad and a tiny cup of soup? Disgusting business.. not sure of it's this location only, but most Paneras I've been too were not this bad ..
