We arrived to find a fire truck blocking the entrance so we had to go around back to get into the place. The elevators were broke and we stayed on the fourth floor. When I checked in they told me I had to pay for parking but when I reserved the room I prepaid for parking. He looked at my reservation and acknowledged that I wouldn’t be charged for parking. I registered my vehicle and it didn’t send me a link so I did it again and then received 2 links via text. The room was nice and we checked out without issue. About a week later I was charged $20 to my credit card. Spent 45 minutes holding to get to speak to the hotel to find out that they were “backed up” processing my checkout and they had charged me for parking. At first she told me I parked for 2 nights which I did not and then she told me it was because I registered my car twice. My receipt shows that I prepaid for parking and they refunded me the money without issue.I do not appreciate the random charge almost a full week after I stayed nor do I appreciate having to call them to get my money back. Be careful as they will try to sneak in charges well after checking out.
This Hyatt could use some improvements.1.) The hallway (on the 3rd floor) smelled of cigarette smoke or some chemical cleaner. A couple walking down the hallway were talking about the smell as well.2.) Our room didn’t have any sheets, blankets, or pillows for the pull-out bed.3.) The pull-out bed and shower wasn’t very clean. When I was showering, I didn’t want to touch anything around me.4.) There were no towels at the swimming pool. I had to notify the front desk, which isn’t too bad, but it would be nice to have it stocked. A few gentlemen who were there before us had to bring towels from their rooms.5.) Pool area could be cleaner.6.) No body lotion in the room. The gentleman who checked me in was nice and friendly. The other lady didn’t smile, but did her job. Nothing against the two employees that I saw. Complaints are more about the hotel.I was there for one night with my family (3 kids all 11 and younger). We checked-in in the evening and left at 3 AM for an early flight. We weren’t there very long, but I will most likely look for a different hotel if I’m back in the area. (Stayed at the Hyatt Place in Westminster, and it was much better.)
Had a great experience. Front desk ladies were amazing. My flight from united airlines canceled and I was forced to stay overnight in Denver. This hotel had the best service! Shuttle was timely and all the staff was amazing. Made a bad situation much better.
I’m a Hyatt Gold Member, but was unimpressed by this hotel. We were put in a handicap room when none of us had handicaps. I’m 6’2” and everything in the room was at a 4’ person’s level. The mattress needs replacing and had a sink hole in the middle. The hotel staff was wonderful and accommodating. I love the ladies at the front desk. I was in this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights and breakfast never changed. It was the same thing; cold scrambled eggs, soggy bacon and yogurt. No real variety. Not complaining but just stating my experience.
One of my favorite hotels I have stayed in. We picked this one because of the shuttle to the airport. We were able to get a early morning shuttle to the airport and it was a comfortable ride. The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. My daughter loved the pool. We didn’t eat breakfast but it looked like they had a good selection to choose from
The worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. I checked in for 2 nights. The hotel is fairly clean and the rooms are nice size suites. Here’s the problem; 3:25am somebody knocks on my door, room 315, and then proceeded to open the door. Fortunately I had the safety lock on and therefore the door was only able to open a few inches but someone had an active room key that unlocked my door. It’s was really startling. I spoke to multiple “managers” the next morning and their response was “ they would inform the GM”. To my surprise, I never heard a peep from the GM or anyone else for that matter. Folks, avoid this hotel and look at the several other options in Aurora Colorado. I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone.
I was very satisfied with my stay. Spacious clean rooms. Cable TV was limited but the free daily breakfast , swimming pool and free Airport shuttle made up for it . Shower was hot and had plenty of fresh towels. Staff was great accommodating me after a problem with the door lock. Happiness is a green apple that awaits you in the lobby in the comfy chairs.
The hotel was nice. Odd bathroom layout, but for one night, it's no big deal. The staff was very nice. Darrion helped us check out and get the airport shuttle. They offer a free airport shuttle, and it was able to drop us off at the airport at its scheduled time (runs every 45min starting at 4am).
The room was very spacious, which was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, which is always a big plus. 2 sinks, fridge, writing desk, big couch, decent TV.The room had lots of scrapes/dents/dings and looked like it hadn't been "touched up" in a couple of years. That didn't bother me, personally, though for what they charge, I'd have expected better. Fortunately, I booked through a discount site. The breakfast is nothing to write home about. Eggs were pretty watery. No bacon, but they had some sausages.I found a long, blonde hair on one of my pillows when I climbed into bed - I'm a guy who razor-shaves his head, and was sadly alone during my stay here, so there should have been zero hair in the bedding. The bathroom layout is weird. You have to practically stand in the shower or between the toilet and wall in order to open/close the bathroom door. The cordless phone didn't work, and the bedside lamp flickered a lot on the dim setting. Not things that bother me, other than these were unexpected for a place that charges as much as they do.The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! The shuttle driver rambled on about pro-Trump, anti-liberal stuff the entire ride.So they at least get a point for the spacious room and front desk folks.
Room was great, customer service not so much. The first couple of nights we had no house keeping. We called and requested clean towels to which the front desk woman said "be right up" and never showed up. The following morning we had to go down stairs to retrieve our own towels. Our last two nights there we had a woman named Shelia helping us out. She completely turned our experience around. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. There is free breakfast from 6am-9am nice little selection to choose from. The shuttle bus was also prompt and very professional.
