Waste of money. Our family wanted to try a different pizza shop, the website didn't work to check out but then we found we could check out through slicelife. We were optimistic when I pulled in to find the bar was over filled, I checked the order it looked correct so I took it home. The order was two pizzas and a calzone. The calzone was okay, the sauce skimpy. The pizzas were horrible, the crusts were dry, over seasoned with oregano. When the cheese was pulled off it looked like someone had dumped the entire spice jar on the crust. My 9yr old had a single slice and stated she wished she had a time machine to travel back in time to stop us from ordering at this place. We trashed the pizzas and heated some frozen buffalo wings to try and overpower the residual flavor of the oregano. Looks like a hopping bar, but eat before you go. The food was gross and a waste of money, I will not be returning!
Very tavern-y food. Delicious. I ordered some food to go and it was ready and waiting when I arrived for pickup. The place has great bar/restaurant atmosphere and the staff was friendly. The food isn’t gourmet; it’s down to earth and delicious. The pizza had great flavor, toppings weren’t sparse but weren’t excessive either. The fish and chips we’re also pretty good too. Bottom line: It was all just…down to earth, not pretentious, good.
If you haven't been to this gem, you're definitely missing out. Quaint little neighborhood bar with a patriotic vibe & unbelievably inexpensive food and drinks. Excellent Italian food with some bar favorites thrown in. The staff I know, Kathy, Sparks, Dawn & Megan are all a blast to have as your server and have some serious bartending skills more like you'd find in a downtown nightclub. Check it out. You won't be disappointed!
We would really love to give this place 5 stars because the food is great and it is so close to our house. The reason we are giving only 2 is due to the INSANELY slow service and not being acknowledged after numerous minutes waiting. We have tried this place 5 times and every single time it has been like this whether we sit at a booth, table or at the bar.
Thought we try it out always looking for good pizza. Ordered 2 pizzas a Pepperoni and the more topping Hero oneThey were ready on time and made to order but... both pizzas were flavorless. Crust had no flavor and toppings had no flavor. Dissapointed to pay $34 and not enjoy it at all. Ate less than 1/2 of my second slice...as it never got better....even though I was hoping.
Cool location, lots of regulars. Service was a slow and we got forgotten about a few times. Great for regulars maybe a little challenged for new visitors.
My husband and I have played for many poker tours since 2006. This tour has Bad poker Etiquette!!! We will not support this restaurant in the future. The owner of the poker tour should not be playing the game that is designed to enhance the restaurants clientele. This feels like collusion.... Does he win all the profit everyday?
I've never dined in only done pickup but holy lord the pizza is SOLID. I've had their Sicilian (Margherita), Heros Pizza, Meatball sandwich, and Pizza Rolls and its all stellar. Order online and your food is ready at the time stated no problem.
Went here the other night with the wife and this place is bad. Bugs flying everywhere! I noticed the 3 other people with drink covers so the flies do go in there drink! Very dark and cold inside. I think 4 lights worked in the whole place and the smell was unpleasant. Pizza was okay not great, kinda hard to enjoy a meal with bugs fling all over the place we payed and got out of there fast. Sorry Heros more like a zero.
This was not a pleasant experience. Pizza came 20 minutes late. Was not what we ordered and was gross! When we called the staff, I asked to talk to a manager and they refused and told me they were the best I’d get. When issue was described they took zero responsibility and blamed it on the app; which seems to be a known problem to the business. DO NOT RECOMMEND
