The wings and stir fried squid were delicious and the service was good, but the bathrooms are the most disgusting I've seen in my life. I would rather use a port a potty or truck stop restroom. Seriously, they are horrifying, and the thought that those bathrooms are the ones the cooks and servers are using is nauseating. If I hadn't seen the bathrooms, I would have given them 5 stars.
Love the ambiance and simplicity of the food of this place. I have been here twice. Took fried chicken both the times. The first time it was half and half chicken, and the second time it was spring onion chicken. I liked the latter more as the pieces of the chicken were boneless, more tender and juicy and there was plenty of spring onions, adding to the taste. I also love the condiments and tangy salads they provide with the dishes.
I've been eating here for over two years, every couple weeks. Phenomenal food!!! It's hard not to order the Korean fried chicken and pork belly bbq literally every time. Craveworthy....Every once in a while I venture out and WOW! Never disappointed ... Love it
It breaks my heart to write a 2-star review because there are just not that many Korean restaurants in Colorado. With that being said, I would like to write this review to let people know what to expect when coming here.Let's start with the positives and then the negatives.Positives:* The waiting staff here is always really nice and on top of everything. Never really had to wait for water refills or to ask for anything else.* Most of the food we get here is pretty good. Please see my negative bullet point about fried chicken below.Negatives:* The bathrooms here are the worst I think I've ever seen in my life. I've seen bathrooms at sketchy parks and portable bathrooms in better condition than the ones here. The sink seems to always be clogged with black water sitting in it. The urinal has been broken for a while. The toilet has all kinds of things smeared all over it and doesn't seem to flush properly. There is a constant stale, pungent cigarette smell. And the cherry on top was a bunch of wait looked like fecal matter smeared on the walls the last time I was there.* The fried chicken is ok most of the time but there were a few times where it seemed pretty obvious that the chicken was old and refried. The inner chicken skin was really hard and the flesh itself was dry.* This is me being a bit nit-picky here but it's clear that they wanted to make a music playlist where everyone gets to choose songs and they'll play one song at a time from each person's playlist so it'll go from Korean ballads, hardcore rap, rock, etc and it can get a little disorienting.Overall, I want to like this place but there are a few reasons why it's a bit difficult..
This place is a dive and the bathrooms are from a horror movie. But its open til 1am and has great Korean BBQ and by God the fried chicken is out of this world. Love this place.
Gan-Jang Chicken, Marinated Pigs Feet, Galbi... and open late? This place has it all.
Great atmosphere, bar is separate from dining area. Prices were actually not too bad, very mid-range. Food came promptly and was piping hot and very delicious, service was excellent. Highly recommend you check this place out!
Been coming here for bout 4 years. Sometimes it smells bad in here, from either cleaning supplies too strong, or like yesterday, some other funky smell I couldn't place that wasn't a food smell but I was starving and wanted their good tempura shrimp. What they brought me was FRIED shrimp but not TEMPURA shrimp. So, things have changed lately here. I tried a couple (blah) then drank my Sake and left. Service was good, like it always is and the staff is nice, but I won't be back anymore, after also reading other reviews here of how it's changed. Too bad.
Tried this place for the first time and thought it was very good! Had the Army Stew which is definitely enough to serve 2-3 HUNGRY people like the menu said. The stew was like a goulash where everything was thrown in: ramen, sausage, spam, rice cakes, kimchi, and finely sliced jalapenos. You can even add sprinkled cheese on the top if you prefer. This place is also great because if you're craving Korean food late at night then this is the spot since it's open until about 1am or 2am most nights. I went at about 830pm and there were maybe a couple of other tables occupied, but as the night went on more people started coming in! The music they had playing the night I went had all the popular Kpop jams playing! I'd be content going by myself and ordering food just to sit back, eat, and listen to the tunes. Definitely coming back to try their other menu options like tteokgoki and listen to the music being played. The service was fine and helpful. If you have questions, they're very kind to answer them and/or offer suggestions. Towards the end of the night, it was one little lady manning the entire restaurant but she still made sure to make her rounds and check on each table. At no time did I feel rushed to eat and get out.
Good fried chicken with friendly staff. I got half half. The size is great for leg and thighs. Not too spicy. Kind of like sweet and sour sauce with very little mild spicy flavor. Will come back again!
