I have been here a few times and love taking visitors to Stanley to eat at the variety of restaurants. I took my mom to Denver Biscuit Company at Stanley Marketplace for lunch while she was visiting from Florida and she loved it. The Franklin is delicious and she had the shrimp and grits (which I had the leftovers for and it was still so good!)
This location is inside the fun Stanley Market. The food is so delicious, especially the biscuits! There are vegetarian options and the biscuit with mushroom gravy is delicious. We had Impossible sausage on the side and an order of house made pickles. Coffee is self serve with many options and lots of fun mugs. Service is friendly. After a terrific brunch we walked around the market and shopped for some gifts.
Stopped in here before kicking off a full day in Golden and Denver. Located in the heart of the Stanley Marketplace, I was able to add myself to the wait-list while en route to the location. Immediately seated and then service was prompt and accurate. Made a build my own sandwich while splitting a biscuit plain with house jam and honey butter with the SO. Food was fresh and delicious and would certainly come back!
Very relaxed atmoshere at lunchtime. Amazing coffee, amzing blend of sweet and savory on fresh tall bicuits. Highly recommend the tomahawk Loved our server john. Definitely would come back in a heartbeat
I went for a walk while visiting from Connecticut. Soon, I was standing on holy ground: the Denver Biscuit Company. I knew I had to return with my nieces. We enjoyed the self service coffee and fresh squeezed OJ. I'm addition, we ordered one sweet dish (the strawberry shortcake) and one savory (with bacon, chicken and gravy!) The three of us were completely satisfied. We grabbed the cinnamon roll to go. Overall, I strongly recommend this place! So much fun!
Was in town visiting and someone told me to check this out whenever In Denver. Luckily, I was able to get seated right away. I ordered the Franklin with the mushroom gravy and added an egg. It came out really fast. It was ok, but didn’t blow my mind. The biscuit was on the dry side and the bacon was soggy and on the cold side. I asked for it to be extra crispy and I didn’t even eat it. I didn’t eat the top of the biscuit either. The mushroom gravy is what saved it, it was delicious. I can say I’ve eaten at the DBC, but probably won’t again.
I rarely give 5 stars! (Look at my reviews.) This spot, is the spot! I love biscuits! But this right here, worth the price and the drive! Next time I'm in Denver, I'll definitely be back! I ordered the vegan gravy and biscuits. I paid $11 and some change. Not sure of the exact amount.
This was our first time at this location for DBC. They were very accommodating at getting us seated quickly and outside like we preferred. I had the three run double. As always, the biscuit was absolutely delicious! Eggs and bacon cooked well. My boyfriend had the cinnamon roll which is his absolute favorite! We were surprised when we got the bill that there is a 1% charge added because of the location in Stanley's Market. I'm not sure if that's posted somewhere but we weren't aware beforehand.
First of all, the Stanley Marketplace is a lot of fun. It was great to go here for breakfast and then walk right out into the marketplace. These biscuits are incredible! I got a breakfast sandwich, but it could've used some cheese or something - mine had sausage, egg, and apple butter, and it was soooo dry. It came with maple syrup on top, and I asked for mine on the side. Good thing, because that would have been way too sweet. I'll know for next time to ask for cheese!
We arrived for late breakfast around 11:30 a.m. just in time before the restaurant was entirely full. We were seated in the furthest corner of the restaurant at a two-person table and greeted by our server within five minutes of seating. She brought us water, told us her name was Allison and when she said she was from Louisiana my wife chimed in, “Me too! What part?”Allison was fantastic! I wanted coffee and she made me aware there was a coffee bar I was free to help myself. I got distracted with conversation and never got my coffee so I didn’t get a chance to check it out. Also, the food came out so quickly I forgot about coffee until I finished my meal.I ordered The Ellsworth and my wife ordered The Tomahawk. We were both really happy with our choices and there were only crumbs left. The biscuits are huge, fluffy, and filling. With The Ellsworth came a perfectly crispy piece of fried chicken topped with a swirl of Dijon mustard, honey, and house brined pickles. The Tomahawk had a juicy sausage patty, fluffy scrambled eggs folded into a square, sharp cheddar cheese, and strawberry rhubarb jam. My wife also had a Bloody Mary and she loved it. To her delight, the pickle spear was both sweet and spicy. Allison also was sure to ask for ID.If you’re trying to find The Denver Biscuit Company and having trouble because it’s your first time note that it’s located inside Stanley Marketplace, a food hall and shopping destination. I wish we hadn’t been on our way to the airport so we had more time to explore, but The Denver Biscuit Company was the best introduction. This is absolutely worth a return visit!
