I went and paid for my food. I went to pick up my food off the counter because I did not hear my number called. I was there waiting for a few minutes. I did not see anything wrong with what I did but an elderly Asian man in the corner started yelling frantically as if I was stealing. It made me a little upset. That could have been handled better instead of making me feel like a criminal when I did nothing. Very disappointed in his service.
Yikes. Used to go here pre-pandemic and even then it was pretty average, we didn't order the fried rice since the first time since it was very bland. Just went here tonight and everything tasted like it was a few days old. Our crab cheese wontons were dried out in the middle, egg rolls were still decent but not worth returning only for those and the lo mein tasted chemically. I ended up recooking the noodles and added my own sauces to make it edible. Will not be returning.
I went here Because I have been craving Chinese food for a while now and they seemed the most suitable overall everything was good I feel like the rice definitely tasted like nothingmaybe that’s just me but it needs more seasoning… They literally gave us so much rice And that’s good for portion wise but it literally tasted like nothing… They barely gave us any meat once you started digging through the meat there was more rice under the meat so it makes it look full but it’s really not The beef was super salty‘s but other than that everything else was good I love the chow mein and orange chicken it’ll probably be some time before I come back but it was still kooI honestly think it was a little pricey for mostly rice but hey
I had not been to china chef in a few years, I was in aurora today at 11:30am and I decided to stop by thier and order broccoli. fried rice. I saved it until dinner and I am so dissapointed the rice is hard and taste burnt and I only had 5 peices of broccoli. What a waist of my time and money. What happened to the good cooks. Please do better with your food.
This Dive is putting out some REALLY GREAT Chinese food and it is no secret! It stays busy! Fresh ingredients, made to order, classic Chinese! Have never been disappointed with anything on the menu! We've been picking up take-out at least twice a month for years! The Only place in town that still does Old School egg rolls!!!!!This is your place for Chinese. Don't be put off by the seedy neighborhood. Take-out and delivery only.
I have been to every Chinese restaurant around here and China Chef Express is the best hands down! Delivery time is perfect! They are busy a lot so if you want your food faster I suggest picking it up. They are not much higher than anywhere else.. Fact is.. you get what you pay for! They have OUTSTANDING food and service!
My daughte’s grandmother brought her here and she has been begging me to bring her back ever since. So tonight we went and we will definitely be back. Orange chicken is very good and the quality of the chicken pieces is higher than most Chinese take-out. The only reason I’m not giving 5-⭐️‘S is the prices are a bit steep.
I usually order from the regular China Chef which my family and I LOVE, but decided to try the China Chef Express tonight as I was in a rush and they are closer..... never again. If the food wasn't completely disgusting, it was tasteless! I ended up wasting $65 and just made breakast for dinner instead. Do not eat here!
I am trying all my Chinese take away options. And my first order was good. I got pork fried rice and sweet and sour soup. Very good. So ordered the same thing plus sesame chicken. BIG MISTAKE. Not sure if I got any chicken it was so mushy and soggy. No way it was made fresh for our order. I got the large too, my next mistake. So now I have more of this grossness. The rice was still very good.
I don't know what's happening. But I've been ordering here alot since June when I moved to the area from Thornton. Everything has been okay up until i switched up from shrimp fried rice w/ sweet and sour sauce to general TSO chicken. I have gotten REALLY really sick. Puking and top of my stomach cramping. I has a friend from Ohio come out and she tried the same thing general TSO and got really I'll....They are either not cooking the chicken through or serving us rotten chicken. Either way I won't be back ANYMORE-Nani?
