For $100 (2 top shelf drinks/2 entrees/side of guacamole + tip) you could go to a number of other restaurants in the area and have a better overall experience. The "top shelf drinks" were heavily syrup based and not at all top shelf. The food was bland and underwhelming. We waited at the hostess stand for almost 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us at which point we were told that the open and displayed patio "hadn't opened yet..." at 6:25. Really disappointing experience given how expensive everything is nowadays.

This place great potential. Certainly its popular. The food is expensive for what it is and even more so when you factor in the horrible service. I was in a couple of weeks ago, they had a nice crowd in for an Av’s playoff game… service sucked. Everybody has an off night, so I tried again. Even worse. Plenty of open seats at the bar….10 minutes to get a beer. Another 10 to get a menu. My order was never taken. I finished my beer in 30 (now 40 minutes total) and left unfed. I’ll never go back.

Food was very bland. Portions were generous but only due to very big plates that barely fit on the tables. And expensive too. Our server was very forgetful although there were very few tables occupied being served by 2 other servers. We were HER only customers. We waited for our check for more than 15 minutes and she was no where to be found. We had to ask another server about it and HE made sure we got it. She also tried charging us for something we asked about but DID NOT order. None the less, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

We're leaving Colorado for New England, so my wife wanted to get our good Mexican food in. This place was a great choice! Very fresh pico de gallo (I finished the whole pot). The Express Burrito is huge, crispy, and tasty. I saved the second half for dinner and literally couldn't wait to get back to it. We've lived across the street from this place for 20 years. So much time wasted!

Grate people and a a great experience

Luis was a fantastic server. Saturday late lunch and not too busy. Outdoor seating closed at the moment.Food was pretty good. Rice could be better.Tacos were nice and crunchy!Go hungry!

Tried to go to another restaurant but they were not open yet. The sign said seat yourself so we did. In the inner dining area so the servers would see us. They were not prepared for diners yet and were doing their opening duties. We sat for a bit before the guy doing chores came over to start us with menus. Then we waited a little more for a server. A jug of water with two cups and chips and salsa with pico on the side. I made the mistake of asking how much the price of the snapper was in the huachinango dish which caused him to disappear again. Finally came back and it was $50. I’m sure it was a large size and we could have shared it but I wasn’t prepared to pay that much for lunch. So I went with the lunch special of crispy Chile relleno and chicken enchilada. Came with rice and beans. He chose the Colorado burrito which is a flour tortilla with pork stew smothered in its own sauce. Rice and beans. The chips were a little hard. We put the pico into the salsa to give it more flavor and some crunch. The food came on large metal plates - be careful because they are hot. The food was average. Nothing special. The service mediocre. A single diner and a group of 6 besides us but it took a long time for us to get our food and we were there way before the others came. I haven’t been here in a while so it was nice to eat here but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to come back. They do have a bar attached and have Broncos game nights, karaoke nights and happy hour during the week. Parking is plenty so that is convenient.

This was a nice place to visit in the afternoon. The waiter and bartender were attentive and friendly. The margaritas were great. The food was good, but I wasn't overly wild about the fish tacos. I'll try something else next time. I think you'll like this place. Try it!

Dinner was very good. I judge a Mexican restaurant by two things first. The beans and the rice. The beans were flavorful and not dry. The rice was a little different. The texture of the rice was more like Uncle Ben's long grain rice. I'd give the beans an 8 and the rice a 6. The next are the chips and salsa. The Chips were good. The salsa needed more flavor, but good. The chips a 7 and the salsa a 5. The portions were huge. I had the combo #15. Everything was excellent on the plate.

Awesome real mexican food. Great ambiance!
