I’ve eaten there half a dozen times with my wife and it’s always been excellent - food & service. Best burgers in town in my opinion.
Absolutely amazing. I had no idea what I wanted and everything they recommended was great. Would highly recommend the blackberry smash. They have anything you could want from bitter to sweet. The burgers are also amazing.
This place most definitely a pub and not the first place I would take my family out due to kids being involved! I don't believe they even had slings for a baby carrier available. The food was just mediocre, generic pub food. The burger wasn't terrible & they are thicker fries if that's your jam.
For us, this is the best burger place in the area. The burgers have a beef forward taste versus the over-seasoned, salty flavor of fast food and sit down big chains. Nice to have a place where the meat is the focus instead of trying to bombard our tastebuds with everything in the kitchen. Perfect char on the outside, juicy on the inside. The toppings are tasty without being overbearing, complimented by a wonderful brioche style bun. One burger had a perfectly cooked egg, another great tasting thick and crisp bacon with fried onions and mushrooms. Solid onion rings and salads too. The staff was also wonderful.
I like this place. The food is good. Prices are above average, expected. $22 for a burger w/ salad and added fries. The service is very good and the people are nice. The choices of what to drink are good too. However, $37 for 3 local vodkas on the rocks is more than a few bucks extra. $62 some odd before tip for one person is pretty spendy.
The best staff! Feels like family. Come in on Wednesdays for Trivia! Dave is the BEST host!! Their food is great. There's never any trouble there; everyone is friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Cool burger place. Great menu. Plenty of choices for burgers and sandwiches. Good size burgers. I had to help my wife finish her Green Chile burger. Always love the option of tater tots with my burger. Only complaint is the the actual burger needed a little more flavor. Pretty plain taste. Good thing there were toppings on the burger to give it some well needed flavor.
Most of the time I come here the burgers are made exactly to specification. I love the bookmaker burger. The fries are golden, medium sized, crispy outside soft inside. I would give the food a 5 but there have been 2 times that the burgers are way over cooked, I like rare to medium rare. I have found when we go during the busy hours this is when it happens and the wait time is ridiculous. The last time we went when it was busy, we waited 50 minutes for our burgers and there was no apology or acknowledgment about this wait time nor any effort to ammend this. Because of this, my husband doesn't want to return. I continue to go on off hours when it is very slow. During these times the food is excellent as well as the choice of beer. Staff is kind and friendly at the times I choose to go.
Bookmakers has great burgers and very easy to order online. Food was ready on time and pickup was very easy. This is our families go to in SE Aurora for higher end burgers.
Awful service. Just got back from trying to have lunch there. We arrived and picked a seat. It was not busy when we arrived. Took 10 minutes for someone to come over with menus and take our drink order. Three more groups of people came in staggered behind us. They all got their food before we did. We were offered no explanation, just that it would be a bit longer. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave. It was not overly busy, we will not be back there. Totally screwed up a lunch date!
