5 stars for the customer service. I asked which the employee liked better, the warm or cold potato salad. She was honest. She said that she does not care for either. The warm is vinegar based and the cold has mayonnaise. I decided to try the warm cause it's something I would not normally order. She gave me a sample before I ordered it. It was good. The burgers had that nice char grill on them. They aren't huge (what my husband said). They were filling and satisfying. It is an unadulterated burger. There are choices of toppings you can add yourself. Kraut, relish, pickled tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, etc. I'd come back.
Benders has been a staple in the Aurora area for decades. It's one of those niche places that only locals know about.. and the base. Incredible brats.
Awesome restaurant that does one thing, brats and their side dishes and does them to perfection! Great food, great service!
Ordered simple meal and it took over 30 minutes to get it! Let me rephrase that! I left after 30 minutes before getting it! They have gone downhill!
I had a kraut burger today and I was very impressed. It was a good size and I got full before I was done, but it was too good to not finish it. ? I will definitely go back and take my sister with me.
Bender's of long ago has well come to a close. It has been 31 years since I have been here back when they were on 6th Ave. I moved back to Colorado and thought I would give them a try. I had the 3 pig and it arrived well done as in very charcoal on the skin and dry. For the price of a meal today they should take better care as to what they send out for people to consume. I shall not return.
Always a great lunch at Bender's. Their warm potato salad is so good and you can never go wrong with a double with cheese. Make sure you get some brats to take home!!!
Don't go here if you have anywhere else to be. Took them over 20 mins to make 2 sandwiches due to understaffing and I was late for work as a result. Hope the food is good at least.
Its different, its a staple. It is pretty darn good. When the mood for this hits me we go.
