Ajuuah is a family friendly Mexican restaurant. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Food portions are good and a good value. If you like authentic Mexican cuisine and a great menu, then Ajuua is your place to go!
My husband and I have been going here for years. We love this place. I really like the atmosphere while eating. Not too loud like the steakhouse next door. People are always friendly and the food is good too. I can't get enough of the chips and salsa. I always eat too many and have to take some of my entree home. But I'm ok with that cuz they're really good/addictive. We usually visit about once a month. Great place!
The service was great, now onto the food. It is as mediocre as any Tex-Mex restaurant. I’ve been to a few and this one was by far not my favorite. The food was okay it was eatable. The only thing they really got going for them are the margaritas. 4/1/22: Food was excellent but I don't think there was enough staff. I needed serving utensils, tortillas, napkins for my meal. I wanted black beans but wasn't asked what I wanted. I thought maybe I said it but nope because I got pinto beans.I couldn't get a virgin strawberry daiquiri because it was 1pm. I have been eating at this restaurant since it was on Hampden. I know what it is and what it isn't. This was an off day. My waitress was overworked so I just tipped her and kept it moving.2020: I love this place. Great food at awesome prices. They also have groupons so it's my spot for special occasions on the cheap. The chips and salsa that they bring out as an appetizer will get you full because you'll have to force yourself not to eat too many. The salsa is fresh, spicy but not too much and the flavor is delicious. The portions are good as well. You get the value for your money and the quality of the food is excellent.I have never had a bad experience here. The service has always been good. I have been eating here for years now. I used to go to the one on Hampden before it closed. I don't know how they topped that location but they did. I also enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
Excellent restaurant with such wonderful food and drink. Great atmosphere and very good wait staff. It seemed like a fun place to work as everyone appeared to be enjoying their jobs. Great place to go for some delicious Mexican food.
The three sisters that own this place are beyond spectacular. They make everyone that come through the door feel like familia! The food is really good!!! They have a secret Margarita! It is called Chris's Special Margarita! You won't see it on the menu. You have to ask for it!
Food is good, facility is clean, and the staff are incredible. Really appreciate their veggie options. I’ve been to Ajuua a couple times, this go around I’m reviewing my latest visit. Here’s what we ordered:Chilis Releno - excellent taste!Chimichanga - did not get a chance to eat as it had ground beef but we asked for beans onlySmothered Burrito - really good, meat was pretty tasty but could be betterCucumber Margarita - really really strong, was actually a little hard to drink.I’ve enjoyed going to Ajuua, they’d be five stars if they met all our vegetarian needs in our latest order. The chimichanga that was ordered had meat in it, which we specifically requested only beans and cheese. We’ll definitely be going back, especially for the frozen margaritas (really good!), but anyone with diet restrictions be sure you are explicit with your order.
I just want to say how disappointed I was with this experience. I contacted the manager about how nasty our food was, all she had to say was sorry. I am really surprised how this place has good reviews. The queso was the worst and our food was wrong. How can you people eat this trash and be happy paying 70 dollars for two people?
