Fantastic tasting, serious, old Skool cocktails, and creative, extremely fresh, and well cooked entrees in an kinda old world early American century feel with a modern twist.Don't fret though, the service is low key and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable to answer any questions you may have.Pricey but this is quality.Cheers - Chef
This humble place competes with any cocktail bar in America. Amazing menu of classics, some I’ve never heard of (I’m a craft bartender), made to perfection. They know what a paper plane, and a sazarac, are, which is sadly rare. My favorite cocktail is a vieux carre and they do a freaking good one. Props to the bartenders from someone who deeply cares about this stuff.
I have a cocktail here and consider moving to Arvada because this place just feels like everything that is missing in just about every neighborhood in metro Denver, JeffCo - heck the Front Range. Yeah, you're getting a lot in the the $13 cocktail that's being mixed with such devotion you feel like you and the bar tender have a connection, and you've been missing that in your life lately. And the syrups and the recipes actually have integrity and commitment behind them, so much so that the staff seems to understand when you start licking the inside of your glass - the drinks are just that good, and really, who cares? The bartenders and owners do - to let your worries go and let the Tavern hold you up, even for just one drink. You need it, and your cat needs some space.
Great selection of signature cocktails with both light bites and heavier fare available. Pro tip, order the German Pretzel for an appetizer.
Loved it ! The drinks ? and the service is on point. I like it when the barrel wood smoke is used to make the drinks . Its entertaining to watch. My date was impressed and had a blast as well .
Great restaurant in olde town Arvada! Small space so be prepared if you are in a hurry but totally worth waiting around for. Themed nights are the best as the cocktails match the theme and never disappoint!
Experience is on point. The pop up cocktails are pre-made, so don't get disappointed if they don't blow your socks off. Worth the visit though.
Closed, except for upstairs which had a limited Tiki bar drink menu. Fun holiday decor!
