This is the second time I eat here. It has both time been a great experience. The rolls are fantastic! The owner is japanese, and she doesn't shy away from being in the kitchen or with clients. You migjt meet her and not even know it. The fish they have here ate super soothing.
We love sushi, and were excited to try this place seeing all the great reviews. But we left disappointed. The line of fire shrimp, people raved about, was tiny. It tasted great, but was not worth the money. Each dish they brought out was unimpressive. This is the first negative review I've ever written, I'm sorry. The staff were lovely and the ambiance was too. Just the sushi was mediocre.

Very disappointed. Placed a to go order and somehow it managed to take 53 minutes. I have a feeling it sat for awhile dispite the fact we were sitting there waiting the whole time. I understand they are short staffed and they were kinda busy after we put our order in. But 53 minutes for 3 rolls and 3 soups is ridiculous. After about 40 minutes the host told us they were just waiting on soup and it would only be another minute or two. 10 minutes later we finally got our order and the soup wasn't even hot. Just disappointed overall. The food was good but the service could use some improvement. Never waited so long for sushi before. And I believe it was more on the host than the sushi cook and even more disappointed that we didn't even get an apology for it taking so long. I don't think we'll be going back
This was a go to restaurant. The food has gone down hill. The miso soup was served barely warm. The meal was also slightly warm and loaded with sugar in the sauce.We arrived early in the evening. One night think preparations would be hot. This was very disappointing. I will try Sakana next time
Great experience last night enjoying a wonderful dinner with sushi and tempura with my wife! Poke (ahi) was fresh and delicious- best ever! The service was over the top - servers all work in unison taking care of each other’s customers so the service is fantastic. The owner Namiko works as hard as the staff ensuring a great experience to all! Highly recommend this restaurant!
My family and I have been coming here for years and it has always been our go to when we wanted somewhere nice but I am sorely disappointed in our latest experience here. Our party seemed to have been forgotten the moment we got our waters, we had to flag someone down to actually have our order taken and then the order came out in pieces which would have been fine had they not forgotten parts of it. The quality of the food seems to have gone downhill as well over the years. The only thing my family enjoyed were the fish tanks but that's not enough to make us come back.
Everything was absolutely delicious and despite being busy and short-staffed, the wait times were pretty short. Would love to come back!

Took my wife out for our anniversary. The atmosphere is super awesome. It a nice part of town in Arvada. The salt water aquariums are so nice to look at and watch the fish. The staff members are helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. We will definitely go again for a date night.
