Never experienced this style of oriental cuisine. Great concept, a multitude of ingredients and sauces, cooked while you watch.
The waitress was very helpful describing how the process worked of preparing your raw foods to be cooked on the flattop. After making your bowl (or bowls) out of the five million different combinations available you take them to the cooks. The cooks joked with me and was able to discern what I had used for sauce just by smelling it as it touched the grill. I was impressed by their knowledge and skill. The food was perfectly cooked and they clean the flattop off every time they're done cooking.

They took me through the process and were patient and always had a smile throughout. They welcome the picky eater who needs their food a certain way, and although I understand that can get very old and tiring, I appreciated the effort they took to be an extra bit nicer, kinder, and more patient. Very tasty food with a great selection of sauces. I would normally think the number of choices is overwhelming, but they provide a few combos that you can tweak if you don’t know where to start (I really liked the one with lime, garlic, and one of the spicy sauces). The employees were also great.
Visiting friends in Denver, and they took me to this amazing Mongolian place. Build your dinner in a couple of bowls and have them cook it on a big flat round grill. Charlotte took care of us, she was so sweet and helpful, even suggesting white chocolate on the fried cheesecake bites for dessert! Yum! I will definitely suggest we come back here every time I visit!
I’ve come here many times with family over the years and have never had a bad experience. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Welcoming atmosphere with incredibly great Mongolian grub. Sometimes I go out of my way to drive across town to bring people to this one over others in the Denver area! Great work!
I love HuHot but had a terrible experience last night. We got there over an hour before close and they were already cleaning like they were about to kick us out. An employee was cleaning the glass above the food and would not move for us to get our plates ready. I eventually had to say something to her and she rolled her eyes at me! Then our second trip back the manager, the same employee and the guy on the grill were having a loud yelling conversation across the restaurant/kitchen area. I couldn't even have a conversation with my boyfriend because they were all SO loud. It was one of the most unprofessional things I've seen and I've worked in the food industry for years.My boyfriend got the mussels and they were old and dry and tasted very fishy. We asked the server to just take the plate away because they were so gross. My boyfriend said that they weren't fresh and he was disappointed. The server replied with a snarky comment "well they have been sitting out in the open all day so I'm not surprised" my jaw dropped that she would say something like that! Just a terrible unprofessional experience and sadly I don't want to return to this location now.
We had dinner at HuHot tonight. It was great. Lots of options of meat, vegetables, and sauces. Everyone who works there is very friendly. The waitress Bree was awesome; she made sure our drinks were always full. Asked if we wanted appetizers and dessert, she was very friendly and made sure we had a great experience. We will definitely keep going back.
Good food, the food bar definitely needed some attention and the sauce part was pretty dirty. Our server Charlotte did a great job, she must be the lead waitress. Will come back!
I’ll start by stating that I love Mongolian grills, and have frequented them in various states.Huhot was delicious, as expected. My service however, was not expected. Charlotte took great care of us, and made sure our experience there was top notch.My family and I will certainly be back because of her.
