Well raymondo's Margaritas are still the best in town but food service is inconsistent we went last night , my wife ordered a veggie burrito every single vegetable in the thing was completely raw hadn't even been seared in a pan and my refried beans were chunky they were not smooth or creamy I don't think that's really rocket science to do that.and my Spanish rice was not cookedWe made the floor manager aware who is in a new person and she was kind of lost as a to a solution she didn't say hey we'll take it off the ticket or will order it again it's just like nobody's empowered to do anything and they made the excuse oh we're short-handed well being short-handed is not an excuse for substandard inconsistent food.Being slow to deliver sure......... but not changing the quality or consistency.We will never give you money for food again only a margarita you better pray Raymondo never leaves her your dead at the Arvada locationThe owner has a serious work to do though he doesn't seem to ever do it
Got carry out so review is for the food only. Very middle - bottom tier. The portions are large and they are decent price, but overall wouldn’t go back. Salsa and queso we just threw away and used some of our own store bought.
The only item I have ever had here is the chili cheese fries. One Sunday evening I looked over at my bride and said "I cannot live any longer without CHILI CHEESE FRIES!!!!" I left my home and drove to the closest Good Times which was closed.After sitting in the parking lot and weeping for about 15 minutes, I utilized google maps to find my closest open Mexican restaurant which happened to be El Tequileno. I ordered their chili cheese fries to go, and let me tell you, they lived up the hype. I experienced roughly 8 minutes of bliss.
VERY VERY expensive for Mexican food. It was good, but not more than any of the other restaurants around here. They did have some unique menu items that I had never seen in a Mexican before.
The service was quick and polite. We ordered the burrito dorado and pica pork carnitas. Both were excellent and the best we've had in a long time.
Was in Arvada and starving. Took a chance on this little gem and was glad I did. Tall drinks, food tasted like it was from scratch and was more reasonably priced than most chains. Wait staff was also very kind and prompt. You will not be disappointed. Had Pollo Asado and Floutas✌️❤️
I wasn’t particularly impressed with this restaurant. I wasn’t really hungry and asked if I could just have a house salad. Although not on their menu, our waiter said it wouldn’t be a problem. What was delivered was a bowl full of chopped kale, a boiled egg and slices of avocado nicely laid on top. I saw this salad on their menu which didn’t appeal to me so didn’t order it but that’s exactly what I got. I suppose that’s their version of a house salad. Needless to say, I barely touched it. We were originally brought out the wrong order but other than my salad, others in our party were happy with their meals once we received our correct order. Hubs and I were in Denver from out of town. Our daughter enjoys the place but I wasn’t really impressed. It’s got a nice atmosphere though and is a very nice restaurant overall. Great for appetizers and drinks with family or friends.
We frequent this joint at least once every 2 weeks. Amazing food portions and stiff margaritas. If you go on a Thursday night, they have a mariachi band that plays.Service is always great and the food is amazing.
Our local Mexican restaurant so we're here a lot; it's consistently delicious, haven't gone wrong on a dish yet. Would highly recommend!!!
Excellent Mexican food and margaritas. The waitstaff and hosts were great and gave fast, friendly service, but the bartender was unfriendly. I wanted to order a couple of beers for our estimated 25 min wait. I stood at the bar for over 5 min right in front of him and he never even looked at me, said hi, told me he'd be right there, or asked what I needed, like I'd normally expect. Instead, another staff member finally took pity and helped me and when she gave him my money and he gave me change, he still didn't look at me or say thank you. That was a bit off putting. Other than that, everything else was great.
