Best Mexican restaurant in Yucaipa. We’ve been eating here for over 20 years and their food is always fresh, consistent and HOT! Love the salsa and chips and family recipes!

Great Mexican food. All dishes will fill you up
From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by the friendly staff. We recieved a number of recommendations for this restaurant for the food. The drinks were fabulous, environment was decent for a shopping mall type place. For the most part clean. You wouldn't expect to recieve a good meal from the looks inside or out of the establishment.The food was absolutely delicious! Only downside which we were warned about was the poor customer service. Between each drink and after food was dropped off it was a game of waiting forever for staff to return despite it being a small establishment. While we were there 3 other couples were there and the staff would disappear. We waited an average of 10 to 15 min in between seeing the staff.
$19.65 deluxe burrito type.?The service was so bad that I would have only given it a 2.5 star rating. ?The food was good however I think you need to be north Latino to actually get served.? It was my observation between myself and fellow patrons. For those of us with the lighter persuasion, my friend and I hail from Argentina,?? we were barely greeted. ?My friend had a question about an item on the menu in our older waitress responded as if we were annoying her.? It was just a simple question as to whether or not the burritos on the special or the same size as the burritos on the main dish menu.Once we got our order the waitress ignored us for the next 18 or so minutes.⌚ I had to flag down a busboy to get a second refill on my Coke.? The only time they were very quick was at the end of our meal they picked up the the plates in one minute later came back with our bill.? The irony was that we were paying in cash and wanted some change back and it took them another four to six minutes to get back to us. Normally I would have never left a tip, however my roommate said at least to leave whatever tax was.Although the food was good I probably will not repeat my business here for at least a season?
Can't beat their Chile Verde burrito plate for taste, portion size and price. Got to have it once a week!! Husband loves their chicken salad too! Their salsa is fantastic and addictive.
Food was plentiful and delicious. Came to us in a timely manner. Didn't give 5 stars because I ordered a chicken burrito and the chicken was over salted. Took two days of excessive water drinking to get over all the salt. My hubby loved his chili verde plate.

The food and service are the bomb!! During these trying covid days where you're lucky to find a restaurant with any staff, let alone great stay, there's Ocampos. I especially love the grilled fish tacos but my family and I've enjoyed every meal that we've eaten there. Everything is so fresh and delicious ( even the chips and salsa). We drive about 20 minutes to eat here. It's absolutely worth it!!!!
Food was delicious! Service was great ?I ordered menudo; that really hit the spot! It came with cilantro, onions,lemon, oregano, and chili shakers. We also ordered a cheese enchilada, carne asada tacos with beans and rice, and a carne asada burrito. Everything was great, and the food was excellent!
