Its not the best chinese food, but it's pretty good! The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is pretty nice too, not a hole in the wall like a lot of chinese restaurants.
Four of us came here for lunch on Sunday. We all ordered the egg foo young meal. It is a large portion, and comes with an egg roll. Food was delicious, and we had plenty of leftovers. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the slow service. Only 2 servers. We had to keep waving them down to get what we wanted. We will definitely come back, but maybe AFTER the lunch rush.
I Love this Chinese Restaurant. The food is excellent, good size servings, has great specials with good prices. You walk into to this clean large area and usually before you can ask something you are asked where you want to sit. The menus has a full page of specials with great prices. Their other items are family style food or individual cuisines are listed. I drive from Yucaipa to this this restaurant because I love the food, the attentive staff, great prices and the very clean area.
A friend told us about this Chinese restaurant, and we tried it out based on her recommendation. We were seated right away and thought the menu was a large with all of the basic Chinese food that we were familiar with. My husband and I both ordered Egg Foo Young, our favorite. Our dishes quickly arrived at our table and were very generous portions, but we were grossed out by too much tasteless gravy. I got mine with pork which was tough, chewy, and gristly. My husband's Egg Foo Young was topped with whacked up pieces of dry chicken. This unappetizing meal looked like someone threw it up. This $8.95 dish included two mounds of fried rice, an egg roll, and hot or iced tea. Server was unfriendly, but maybe it was a language issue, so I can overlook that. The leftovers we took home were refused by our cat. We won't return.
We order off the menu with "specials" We've visited here about 10 times. The food has always been fresh and tasty. Service excellent and good sized portions.

We enjoyed this restaurant. It was clean. Nicely decorated. Service was great. Food was serviced quickly. Price was great. Portions were plentiful even took home leftovers. You should definitely try this place out. 5 stars
I was on my way from the desert into LA County and needed a late lunch. So I pulled off in Calimesa and went into Legend China 8. Its dining area was clean and attractively decorated, tho not overly so. I was immediately seated and given a menu. I went with a Kung Po lunch special with hot tea. The food arrived quickly and was nicely presented. It tasted fresh, tho the onions could have been dialed back a bit. In short, it was an entirely pleasant meal and I’d do it again.
Ate here recently with my Parents and thought every dish was delicious! Legend 8 has become one of the Local Favorites of my Parents who live in Beaumont. Highly recommended are Mongolian Beef and Lo Mein. Looking forward to eating here again and trying more new dishes.
