Move over, way over Marie Calendars...the chicken pot pie here is one you have never tasted in your life!! This comfort food is a meal in itself. Flaky homemade crust, fresh veggies and rich with flavor. Served with an ice cold drink in pewter mugs, it's a wonderful experience and fun for the family. Entertainment and old fashioned atmosphere with friendly service. Make a day of it....you will come back.

This is a nice looking place to visit. The people are very friendly. As far as my chicken pot pie goes...well it wasn't all that great. The chicken pot pie was very disappointing with several hard one inch potatoes inside. There were a few strands of chicken.Apple pie slice dessert wasn't that great and just didn't seem to have flavor. It tasted kinda burnt with no flavor. It's doubtful that i would travel several miles up into the hills in the middle of nowhere to get subpar food.

We loved the brisket and potato pie and the apple crumb pie. The staff were charming, too. It was a really fun experience.

If you are an American and a Patriot you must go to see actual reenactments of the fight for America. And the food is so good. Take your family and go to Riley's farm.

Very authentic 1700's surroundings down to the workers outfits and the food make this an enjoyable place to visit. The Apple pie is great.

We had the beef brisket and.potato pie, chicken pot pie, apple lattice pie a la mode, ham and cheese croissant because they ran out the chicken salad one. The portions were small for the prices except for the ice cream. The beef brisket was delicious and had a savory taste but you couldn't really taste any pie crust. It was like just mashed potatoes. The chicken pot pie had a nice savory flavor. The croissant was bland and basic. You could get the same thing at a donut shop or maje a better one at hime. The apple lattice pie was amazing with french vanilla ice cream and the crust was out of this world. Outside is scenic and beautiful. They have staff dressed up like in the colonial time period.

We’ve been to two evening events there- Valentine’s Dinner Dance and Colonial Evenings. Both were wonderful. The Colonial Evenings are perfect if you want to experience food and music from the era. The employees dressed in period costumes and acted like people from that era. A wonderful place for families. It’s great if you want to teach your kids more about American History. The live music was wonderful. They also served a full course colonial-era meal.

Was going to investigate purchasing a gift card for someone local, but with their “Me First - public health be damned” attitude emblazoned across their website I’ll be taking my business elsewhere...

Our family visits Hawk's Head every year! We absolutely love the environment and food! Especially fun when it is cold!
