We drove 45 minutes from home to try The Fat Greek today, and we are grateful we did! Lunchtime on a beautiful Sunday, this unpretentious restaurant was quite busy, with about equal amounts of take-out, dine in, and drive-thru customers. My wife was able to get a table while I waited in line to order. I told the person taking my order that this was our first time there. He introduced himself, and was very welcoming and helpful with my ordering questions. All of the food here is made to order, and you do have to have some patience because of that (there is even signage reminding you of that). But the staff were all working at a fast pace and the food was coming out continuously. Our appetizer, hummus and pita, came out about 15 minutes after ordering, and the young man who brought it out was friendly and courteous. I am a hummus lover, and this was the best I ever had! My wife and I both had falafel pita sandwiches (they came out about 5 minutes later) which were generously stuffed with falafel and tasted amazing! Overall, for both food and service, this was an A+ experience. Highly recommended! We will be back!
My wife and I went to The Fat Greek Restaurant in Yucaipa , CA for the first time, and we were blown away by how good the Greek food we had tasted, and how Pleasant, Nice, Giving, Honest, and Friendly, both owners of the restaurant were to us. When my wife and I walked into the restaurant we met owner Chris Houvardas. Chris was very friendly as he answered all of our questions about the different Fat Greet Menu items. We ordered a Gyros Dinner Plate that had Gyros Meat, Rice, Greek Salad, and Pita Bread. As you can see in the Photo the plate was HUGE ! And my wife said everything on the plate was very tasty. I ordered a Gyros Sandwich with some Fried Zucchini. The Sandwich was also very large and very good. The Gyros meat on both plates were so tender. The Fried Zucchini was huge and also very tasty. We also tasted some spicy Greek fries, and Baklava Cheese Cake. Both of them were so good ! At the end of our meals, the second owner of The Fat Greek, Nick came over to our table and sat down and talked with us about the Covid-19 crisis, and what it had done to their restaurant, the menu items, and the family owned history of The Fat Greek restaurant in Yucaipa, CA. It was one of the best conversations I have ever had with a restaurant owner. Both Chris and Nick were so nice and very informative. The Food and the Owners will definitely make us go back to the Yucaipa, CA area, for another fantastic Greek meal again ! If you don't want to go into the restaurant, The Fat Greek has a large and detailed menu area for drive up to go orders. Check The Fat Greek out, you will not be disappointed !

This place is the best all around ! The food is amazing !, the service is super good ! The atmosphere is great ! The owners are the nicest guys ever. We had the best time there ! I’ve gone there five times now and I look forward to going again and again and again !
Excellent food, and service, I ordered the lamb kabob meal and my husband a gyro meal, fresh and fast, if you want authentic Greek food, or something different and delicious this is the place for you, we went on a Monday, a little pricey but well worth it, we try to go once a month and order everything we crave, hits the spot every time, long live the Fat Greek!!

We ordered alot of Greek food. Ending up costing a lot more than an American restaurant. Haven't gone back since. Too expensive More
Amazing customer service! The food is always good and consistent. Great salsa and chips!!! One time I ordered and went all the way there without my wallet. I went to pay and told them I would be back with money. The owner insisted I take the food and come back another day to pay. It was so kind! And of course I went back the next day to settle up. These people go above and beyond. We are thankful to have them in Yucaipa.
Everything that I have ordered from this restaurant has been very good. I highly recommend that you try it!
Comfortable chill patio area, the food was authentic, delicious, priced well, and Nick the owner and staff were super friendly and accomodating for our group. Killer drumset there too :)
