I try and try again, but this location seems to always do something silly. They've messed up my simple order every time. I order Tacos El Carbon - NO ONIONS. Each and every time, there are onions. Then they look at me annoyed when I tell them! EVERY TIME! A few times while I'm at the window, they read me the wrong order. I correct them. Then an employee accidentally kept my credit card and gave me his employee card which was an accident but...PAY ATTENTION!! PLEASE.
Ordered 6 tacos. 6/6 tacos were not tacos.. they fell apart. Rather had been served six tacos worth of meat/cilantro/onion wrapped up in a single foil square with no shredded corn/tortillas at all… and handed a fork…..the picture below was the only one to hold a shape. dry as well cause using sauce with them would of been a joke….thank you team….

Got the double chicken bowl and that was the only thing I had to eat that night and it gave me food poisoning. Normally wouldn’t leave a negative review but this is the second time for me.
Best El Pollo. Food is fresh and enough of it. I drive from Beaumont, CA to get food from this one.
I have had multiple great experiences at the location in Yucaipa. I usually visit during lunch and although they are very busy the manager on duty (mod)takes time to greet every customer who walks in. The team is also very friendly and hard working. I enjoy seeing the ownership and camaraderie they share helping each other and customers during my visits. You don't often see this level of team work anymore. Im sure it stems from great leadership. Needless to say I recommend this location to anyone.

I’ve been to other El Pollo Loco’s and this experience was by far the worst. I took a bite out of my double chicken avocado tostada to be surprised with a chewiness I won’t forget. The chewiness and texture of raw chicken… This meal cured my hunger, but not by means of consumption. I’ll be surprised if I don’t end up getting food poisoning, wish me luck ??We also asked the guy who took our order if the mac and cheese was good a he said I LIKE IT A LOT. He must like baby food then cause his palette needs some upgrading
The keto burrito is really good. If you want to lose weight or maintain good blood sugar . I'm doing both.
