Amazing food. Taco salad and super nachos were amazing. My kids even downed their food without complaint, raving about how good the nachos were. And their salsa is honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. They're so friendly too. One of the best Mexican restaurants around in my opinion.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant! The food highlights for me include the street tacos, carne asada fries, tamales, and salsa. Always amazing flavor and at a very good price! The service is also amazing, and I always look forward to seeing Fernando when I walk in. I cannot express just how much I love this place!
First time eating here and we absolutely loved it. Friendly people. Everything tasted homemade. Excellent flour tortillas and refried beans. We'll definitely be back.
Food is excellent, but this is not a fine dining restaurant. Most folks order on the phone and pick up. If u sit down to eat, you'll be given fresh, delicious salsa and tortilla chips. Your meal will be delivered to your table, but it's clear you are not their priority. Air conditioning was turned working somewhat, but not enough to make you want to linger. Too warm for that.

Good but not great. Service was good and prices are ok. It's worth trying out. The salsa was excellent but the guac was a let down and frankly over priced for the quantity. I prefer spicier Mexican food or at least a fusion of flavors. And we'll this is just "run of the mill" but that could just be preference. I'll probably try them again sometime and eat there as sometimes getting carryout really kills the flavor.
The service was good and friendly! They experienced a bit of a rush and let customers know they would be with them shortly - keeping their word by hustling. The food was excellent, not over done or served sloppily. Lots of flavor and would definitely go back.

Found another gem today in Yucaipa! Acocotli Mexican Restaurant, I was so excited to try a new place that I never ate at before. As usual I tried their Chile Verde Burrito I always try the Chile Verde Burrito at any Mexican Restaurant that offers them, and I wasn’t disappointed! It was so delicious and flavorful. We also had the Machaca Burrito which was also very tasty and flavorful. Need an good ole authentic Mexican dining experience try Acocotli Mexican Restaurant in Yucaipa.
If you are in the area and looking for a great sit down (or takeout) look no further, Acocotli is the place! There are other places in Yucaipa to grab a quick burrito, but they don't match the quality of Acocotli.The combination plates are all excellent. The fajitas are one of my favorites, and the portion sizes are very generous. Dining in will also get you free chips and salsa, and they aren't cheap from a bag chips they are fresh like they should be.The X factor for Acocotli is their hot salsa. They may not give it to you automatically since it is on the spicy side for most people, but it is some of my favorite restaurant salsa I have ever tried. Smokey, and hot, but with good flavor.Service is awesome here at all, and you can tell this small family owned business really appreciates all of its customers.10/10
