Decent place, enough room to dine in, but very hot (AC issue?) inside. Must order at counter and pay before receiving food. Pho has huge portion and very generous on meat options, but broth is too sweet! Even after squeezing several slices of lime and a couple spoons of chili oil it didn't help. Great chili oil though, flavorful and spicy. No service after food is received. Dining area looks clean enough that I wasn't concern. Just wish their broth was LESS sweet.
Definitely would recommend to family and friends. Service, food, and price are all outstanding. We had the house specialty pho and Korean BBQ and they were both very delicious.
Pho is ok.... but the boba tea isn't as good.... I remember going here a couple of times to get boba and the pearls are either not boil throughly or they put overdue milk in my boba tai tea.
it was delicious i enjoyed it service was good. I also like the chicken sandwiches my favorite fresh bread the chicken and thee cilatro and peppers oh.. so good and price is good.
This is the best phó you can get in YC. It's a small cute restaurant but it's really good! We've been coming here since they first opened. The Thai tea with boba and the chicken bánh mì are another favorite that we always get. Definitely recommend if you're looking for good food.
POSITIVES: 5 STARS for the delicious flavors, beautiful presentation, and great customer service!!!! BEST grilled chicken we've ever had in Yuba City! And I am now IN LOVE with the original milk tea thanks to Pho Cali! My family loved their coconut milk tea and honeydew milk tea. We ordered their rice plates with grilled chicken and beef which in our opinion, have a much better Asian vegetable medley than Teriyaki House on Butte House Road in Yuba City. Pho Cali served us at our table and gave us complimentary cups of ice water. I wish we could give them more stars because they were so nice and what we ordered was so amazingly good, BUT we have to be honest about our issues.PROBLEMS: pork in a lot of the dishes leaves even fewer dishes to choose from for the many people in this area that CAN'T EAT PORK, HUGE disappointment on top of Pho Cali's already slim selection of dishes. Also the single bathroom needs improvement, no air conditioning, the meat portions are very small for the price you pay compared to the Teriyaki House on Butte House Road in Yuba City. No fountain drinks, only a few flavors of canned soda for $2.50 each which is crazy.
Huge fan of Pho Cali. Service is maybe slow at times because they are busy, but the wait is totally worth it. Everything is fresh and so delicious.
The food there was great, I got the chicken rice noodle bowl and enjoyed it. It's also my favorite place to go earlier in the day as there aren't many people in their. The Boba they had wasn't exactly the best so order one at your own risk.
Been craving for pho for years. And Pho Cali's pho have fulfilled my cravings. It was our first time there, so my friend and I got one order each. To our surprise, the size of one order was good for 2-3persons. LOLWith the serving size aside, I looooove it. Maybe next time, we'll share one.Thai tea milk tea was yum!
I ordered the mango smoothie with a little bit of boba. Some of the boba was like a rock. Hurt my teeth. It also tasted like they put 2 cups of sugar in it. So very sweet. I am still trying to recover from the sugar high. Other than that, I guess it was ok. I also had a really bad stomach ache afterward.
