Should have taken pics. The flat breads were skimpy with the meat. Drinks were good. Seems like they are always out of the house beers. Burgers had tomatoes about 1/2 thick and the lettuce was so big it was like an umbrella over the burger. The flavor of the burger was good. Did ask for medium and it came out well done. Our waitress was nice and told us she was new. A lot of this was not her fault. She was tipped at 25% to hopefully calm her nerves.
We were in the uncrowded restaurant for 30 minutes with zero service. No water, no drink order, no food order. I had to actually go back to the host station to ask if we even had a server. Another table who arrived 15 min after we did was seated and served drinks immediately. While we understand staff shortages are widespread, a simple acknowledgement that we existed would have gone a long way. This is not our first poor experience here and we do not recommend this restaurant.
Tried a few times when it opened but were disappointed. Tried about 1 pm today on a Sunday. Inside was empty. Service slow but nice waiter. Delivery person drops off food with no conversation forgets "need anything" or taking away used plates. Could have been a robot. Food ... artichokes nice but dipping sauce "hot melted butter"? Decoration on plate made them tasty. Burger bland. Chicken wings smelled great, dripping with Greece and minus flavor. Happy hour all day just means smaller portions. $75 wasted for the last time. Won't be trying again.
Beer and veggies were awesome. Steak... A little overcooked. But overall, experience was great. My server/bartender was amazing and very attentive. I would definitely try again when I'm in the area (here on a business trip). And seriously, the asparagus was amazing! (I ♥️ asparagus!)
The waitress was great, friendly and tried her best. I ordered a steak salad. My husband ordered pasta. There was a lengthy delay due to the holiday. I sent my plate back immediately. I was not as fan of the temperature or the lack of tenderness. My husband asked for his meal to be microwaved because the temperature of his was also not warm. While waiting we ordered 3 drinks. After getting his reheated meal, he offered my some of his whole we waited. The shrimp had flavor. The pasta was plain. My salmon then came out and it was good. No complaints. We tried not to let the experience impact the night and even sang and laughed and eventually ordered dessert. Which was delicious. There were a free things that were disappointing about this visit, however the manager did respond to my concerns respectfully when I reached out. Although the overall experience was not optimal, it was not typical of the previous experiences we've had with Pete's. So we will give it another try in the future.
Fairly nice location, but a small parking lot. Staff is friendly and quick, online pickup is pretty easy. Food is good, and I'm partial to their pizzas as everything else I've had has always only been okay.
Good meal within walking distance from my hotel. Good, quick, friendly service. We ate out on the porch and enjoyed the evening. I had Pete's IPA to drink, Buffalo wings and the steakhouse fries. Good place to eat when on the road.
Great service from our waitress, Sam. I got the 12 oz ribeye steak, which was tasty but a bit on the thin side (about a quarter inch thick). Got the Monkeybread dessert and it was HUGE. Definitely enough for 2 to 4 people to share.
Truly one of the worst experiences dinning. We only saw our server 3 times in the 2 hours we were there. He didn't actually bring us our food or even come to ask how everything was or if we needed anything.I never thought that we were a handful but the rest of the wait staff certainly made it feel like it with the rbf they gave us when we asked for something we weren't given in the first place, like silverware, plates for appetizers, napkins, A1 sauce, etc. It felt as if we were a huge inconvenience. Would not recommend for a big family or group coming for a visit, it dies not represent Yuba City and its hospitality.I have plenty more to complain about if management should want to get a hold of me. Customer service was not worth the $45 in gratuity that we paid, we would have been more than happy to add a good tip on top of that otherwise.
This is our second time here, and it's been a winner both times! The draft beer is ice cold, and the food is piping hot. First visit my husband got the seared tuna and I got a burger, both were just great. Second visit was on a Sunday with happy hour all day. Two ice cold beers, hubby got ribs and I got boneless buffalo wings and onion rings. The wings were more like nuggets but there were plenty on the plate and the onion rings were hot and crispy. Hubby liked the ribs and the side of coleslaw that came with it was perfect to cut the richness of the ribs. We just moved to this are in the past year, and I think we'll be regulars here.
