They say that one store is the same as the next because they are cookie cutter stores. I can testify that it isn't so. This one here in Yuba is one of, if not THE best I have eaten at and taken home from. I love Chinese/Asian, but! There are times when a wait for a meal to be prepped and cooked just doesn't cutting it. That's when Panda Express came in for me. But for a fast food experience this is on a different level. It has become a staple and a member of my happy to go to places. I enjoy the restricted menue because what items they give as a choice they do so well. Kung Pao chicken is my personal Fav' but the menu has expanded over the years to carry some really good and flavourful choices, just do yourself a favor and read the menu, try something else each time and you'll find your fav' too. Tie the good food up with a rapid line of cars, they have ordering and hustling you off and on your way with hot food to take home or just to eat in your car for a short lunch break. I enjoy eating in or taking home, I have yet to order out. Like I said it's a place that has a walk through service line that's fast, clean and tasty, worthy of 5 stars..
I was disappointed when I was asked a question by the employee with the long eyelashes and she questioned my answer. She was in such a rush to get us out of there she was rude during the process. She asked if we had anything else and I told her I was waiting for spring rolls. She rudely said they are in the bag. I informed her that there were egg rolls in the bag and the other employee was getting spring rolls. When I asked for soy sauce she was rude again and said it's already in there. When I arrived home I discovered she left out our 3rd item. I was extremely kind and it's frustrating to have to deal with an employee who so incredibly rude. Please teach her the importance of customer service or place her on your cook line so she doesn't treat people so poorly!
I give this 4 stars because Imagine driving away going to a park to have a nice lunch with family and there is no silverware or napkins to eat said food. And to far to turn around to go back.
So I called to place a order, and was rudely told that they no longer take phone in orders and that I can come in and order if I like (should have been a first red flag). Then when we get there, we had to wait 20 minutes for them to cook chow mein and fried rice (they actually ran out of both, and I don't understand how this can happen if practically everythjng served comes with this. You'd think they'd have a better rythm of anticipating demand). So while we were waiting for themq to cook what should have already been cooked, I hear one customer who actually came back and complained about the burnt chow mein. They ended up serving her a replacement out of the same fresh batch that they served us with, which also tasted burnt. Now this particular restaurant seems to have a machine that does the chow mein for them (I saw it working in the back corner). I don't know if it's an issue with the way they have the machine set, or maybe it's not being cleaned properly, but by the time I got my chow mein, as mentioned above, it tasted burnt. All in all, I would not recommend this particular Panda Express even if there was a restaurant apocalypse and by some dumb luck this restaurant was the last one standing. Other Panda Express restaurants seem okay, but this one is just horrible beyond even the vilest of imaginations. It's like the worst of Biden, the worst of Trump, and the worst of Kamala all wrapped up in one horrifying culinary catastrophe that is the burnt Chow Mein. If I were Gordon Ramsey, there wouldn't be enough curse words in all the languages spoken around the world to express the utter disgust of this experience.
I was impressed with the food, the staff and the cleanliness of the establishment. Everything I had was fresh and delicious! Can't wait to go back!
Just stopped in to get some food. They were out of the item I wanted when I got there. I was told with an eye roll from the young lady with the very long fake eyelashes that it would be a 10-15 minute wait. I asked if I could pay for it and come back & was again met with an exaggerated eye roll. I walked out. I'm sorry if I disturbed you at the job you are paid to be there for. Customer service is usually good at this location though they are frequently out of items so I'm used to waiting. To management, please don't let this rude young lady chase off any more of your customers.
Panda ? Express is not what it used to be. They no longer have black pepper chicken or sweet fire chicken, 2 of my faves. Also, if you choose veggies and chow mein or rice, they overload plate with the carbs. Definitely not half/half. The veggies no longer have seasoning (garlic). Don't go there within 1 hour of closing. They are out of all the popular items.
Why did they take everything good from their menu? There almond chicken was amazing
I've been in customer service for a long time, I know sometimes people can have a bad day, but Liz working drive thru was extremely unpleasant to us. We asked to have a moment to decide what we were getting, and she gave us 30 seconds before she started to rush us through our order and then was very short with us when we were paying at the window.
The only negative thing about Panda now is that they got rid of the pot stickers. Other than that, the food is always amazing
