There is simply no excuse to serve a customer a plate of cold food. There is no excuse for taking that cold plate back to the kitchen and throwing it into the microwave and bringing back ten minutes later pretending the problem has been solved with no apology. It was not as busy as I have seen it there and I ordered a dinner from the "specials" menu that should be ready fast as it is your go to quick menu. If you screw it up the first time then you might want to make a customer a new hot fresh plate. If I could leave a ZERO I would. There are plenty of other better places to eat in Yuba City and I suggest you avoid this place like the plague.
Food is in extra large portions. The rolls are unique and fresh. Service is friendly. We take food with us because portions are abundant. They have a senior menu also for 55 and up with ample portions. Excellent quality!
Place is very busy. Prices are very high for breakfast. Breakfast was good tasting. The chef had the kitchen working while the food runners were slow at getting the food out. I had a booth by the kitchen and heard the breakfast confusion with the dining staff.Bathroom needs attention.
Came here for my birthday dinner and although they were short handed the service was amazing. The food was very fitting for a lumberjack lol but it was still amazing food. We had so much food we had to take it home.
No waiting, great service and the food was good. You never leave there hungry! The Early Bird SpecialIs a great value. Even get dessert! Can't beat the price!
Not bad place to eat. Nothing spectacular though either. Food prices are a tad high for quality of food. Service is usually pretty good.
I really enjoy eating at Lumberjacks. Lloyd was fantastic waiter who continuously checked on our needs. Food was fantastic and fresh. I had the Taco Salad and I must say it's the best. Beats out most places I have ate at.Highly recommend eating there.
Major FAIL tonight ! Simple communication from our server could have made a huge difference but she chose not to. I've worked in high end restaurants and retail so I know it can be difficult and go south sometimes but two hours to wait for a burnt under cooked burger and a taco salad which had hardly any.meat on it was not acceptable period! No manager on the floor controlling the flow of the restaurant, no food expediter controlling the cook line or food going out the window! Yes I had a front row seat to it all! The server could have talked to us maybe had our drinks comped and offered a desert to make up for this awful dinner but nope she chose to hide. She could have gotten a $30.00 tip tonight as my husband and I as a Christmas present when out eating during the holidays tip higher because we know how hard most work. We got to Lumber Jacks at 5pm we did not get out of there till 7:40 and needless to say, no dinner for me. That was it for us no more we won't be back.
This was the best breakfast I have experienced since moving to this area a year ago. I was so elated I was immediately was able to share my awesome experience with the manger on site. The chef actually listens to customers (meaning me) request. So refreshing. The waitress was amazing with as many tables as she had she still remained attentive and upbeat. I highly recommend Lumberjack's. I know I found my new breakfast spot!
We went there about 15 people deep after the parade in town. Call the head of time to give them a heads up because that's polite. The food was phenomenal and the service was even better. Wish I would have gotten some pictures but the waitress made sure all of the food came out just about at the same time. Everything was hot which is very important to me. Instead of letting my son get a double cheeseburger which would have been a pound of Burger she she convinced him that a 1/2 pound Burger was a great choice..... ???♀️? I have always loved this restaurant but their service today was amazing
