Played here on Father's Day 2022. Course condition 4 stars. Pace of play on Father's Day 5 stars. Clubhouse condition 4 stars. Friendly staff 5 stars. Course views and landscapes 4 stars. Value of course 2 stars (cost $150!!!) You can play at Eagle Glenn or Glenn Ivy for $80 and it's a 5 stars all around. However, I'm only coming because of the cart girl (Brooklyn a 5 stars for sure!).
Where do I start, there is no better place to have a wedding than at Black Gold. Since the first day we went to view the venue to even months after the wedding. Joni is so amazing to work with, she cares about you as a couple, you wedding vision, and every thing in between. any request we had with the venue or for the wedding she was always available and super responsive. Joni goes above and beyond her duties to make sure you have the best wedding ever, I can't thank her enough. Also, Marco the wedding captain is just the sweetest person in the whole world. My dad has trouble walking and Marco took the time to make sure my dad got where he needed to be at the venue and got my dad there safe. During the reception he always made sure I had food or a drink at my table. I can't find the words to express my appreciation for Joni and Marco, what they did for our wedding is beyond words.Now the food was so good and the venue itself is very elegant. I got so many compliments about the lemon chicken and salmon. For pictures, this place is stunning!! Ceremony location is breathtaking and the golf course views during couples pictures are beyond beautiful. If you are looking for the perfect place to get married Black Gold is the place. Course was in excellent condition, nice fairways, soft but fast greens with lots of breaks. Nice carts and Speed of play was good.

Love to go to Black Gold Golf Course restaurant. The view is spectacular and the food is tasty. Last week We went for breakfast just because Fred our server was working. He is the very best kind of man. He cannot do enough for each and every person he tends. Everything about Black Gold is excellent.
Fun course. Can be tight of the tee if you don't hit it straight. Lots of elevation changes, love that I need every club. Greens and course we're in great shape. Clubhouse has good food.
The course is in great shape. The greens excellent and like lightning if you haven't played there before. Bunker sand is nice and fluffy. Played on time all day. No waiting. Food is not cheap but good. Pastrami was dry. Look forward to playing there again.
It's a canyon course with bunch of undulations and blind shots. If course is in good condition it's a fair to middling play. I've played it in good condition and bad (they won't tell you). Often they pack the course out and the rounds are 5-6 hrs it's not worth it. Short par 4 followed by back to back par 3s do not help pace at all.
I enjoyed this course with my son. This course layout was varied and entertained us a lot. All the staff are kind. I want to challenge this course again.
