My daughter and friends had a bridal shower girls' fun day. It nearly ended in disaster. The handles for getting out of the water are in a logistically unhelpful place for adults who cannot 'hop out of the water' like a 12 year old. One of the ladies slipped off of the platforms and even though she called for help, no one could see her because the platform was higher than the length of her her arms. She nearly had a panic attack, then calmed herself and did what the staff told her not to: swam under the platform to emerge on the outside. It was her only option. She said that the life guards were not 'on the ball'. She was about 20 minutes behind the rest of her group. No one thought to see if she was ok. We have grand children, and we will be avoiding this park.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities are top notch, rental equipment far exceeded the quality I expected. Food was far better than what you would expect from a place like this. The bar had lots of beer variety. Thank you velocity island park. I will be coming back and bringing friends. 11/10 would recommend
Read if you plan on eating here.The water park was great, all the lifeguards were very attentive, and for the most part everyone was nice and answered all our questions. The reason I give them only 2 stars is the restaurant service. Their process for ordering food can be improved you can only order online and they will text you when your order is ready. It is not an automated text the waitresses have to text you. Unfortunately they are too busy making drinks since that is where their tips come from. You must proactively ask them constantly if your order is ready and have double check the order names if not your food will sit their until they have time to text you. Understands isn’t an excuse create a system that works and hold employees accountable but they didn’t seem to care, so just sneak your food in, they don’t check anyways.The beach and water park were great tho.
I had the best ever wakeboarding lesson in Velocity Island park! That was my second time after the 5 years break, and I took a private lesson with Kaesen and that was a blast!!! He is so caring and demanding coach! He will help you to reach success from scratch and you will get such a productive time! Highly recommend!!
We rented one of the beaches for a day and it was a very enjoyable experience. A big thanks to our concierge, Brian, who was very attentive to us as a group. He made sure we were always well taken care of and was always fast with his service. He made the experience that much better. Would never do it without that service. The pizza and other food we ordered was excellent as well.

Booked an all-day pass of waterboarding for my three boys at $280..Can only book online and leaves no opportunity for hashing out details, my boys realized water boarding was not for them, the water park did switch them over to the swim side for two sessions but offered no refund of almost $100 difference..Not alot of amenities and not very professional the guy Matt was the only one that made the trip worthwhile...Probably would not return.
The staff here is awesome. If you're looking to get into cable riding, this is the place. Thanks a bunch!!!
